That's a good bit harder when you've emigrated to the US. Still hard in hertfordshire as not a single shop for miles seems to stock new villa kit, but not as hard as US, lol. So yeah here's an idea... I'll ask some strangers on a forum as its actually the best thing to do!

No idea. I emailed the club about the sizes but they haven't got back to me. I'm normally a medium too, but I'm also quite slim so maybe I should get a medium with the new shirt too? It's annoying, I don't want a baggy one which 40/42 are on me. But I'm 6'3 and relatively well built. Feels stupid getting a small! Think I'm going to order 2 and post back the one tht doesn't fit!

What sizes have everyone ordered? I usually go for a medium in Nike which is 38/40. Macrons small is a 38/40. All a bit confusing as read rumours of it being a slim fit shirt too.

Afraid not, online villa use kitbag.com or at least they did 2 years ago. Kitbag.com use sencilla printing which is the cheap plasticy vinyl material and is smaller than the regulation printing the players have. The Villa village store uses lextra printing which is what the players have. It's a felt material and obviously the regulation size. I always get my printing done there as opposed to online as it looks a lot better, and the cheap plastic sencilla printing often creases easily and gets dents in it if not stored properly, or even sent to you properly as what happened to me a few years back. Very few places do the lextra printing so it's well worth getting it done at the villa store, if you care enough of course. I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to Villa shirts so well worth it for me!

Would be over the moon with Martinez. Been my favourite all along. His teams always play to win and always play good football. Would love to see what he could build here with our potential and better quality players.

None of you do team killing on call of duty then? Thats wht I do. Love it! Keep flash banging them over and over again with "one man army" then RPG them or knife them. They usually threaten to hack me at that point "cos theyve got my IP address" thats when I ask them if they could tell me my IP address because I need it for some work. Also had lots of angry manc and scots threaten to hunt me down and petrol bomb my house. Classic.

Ah right, EA must be lieing to the world then. My friend must have hacked into his ps3 to change it just for him then..

Bought this for £28.99 from Sainsburys on friday, traded in at hmv for £35 store credit today, quite chuffed! I understand the tackling is more realistic but I just didn't enjoy the game, the new tackling sapped all the fun out of it! Whats the point in getting to grips with the new tackling system and then when u play online everyone reverts back to the old legacy system. Kinda defeats the point. I also find it impossible to score from corners/crosses and concede far too many headers. Its got to the point where I always had to take short corners and stop crossing and work the ball around. Not realistic and not fun in my opinion. If im crossing over 15-20 crosses and corners a game i wanna be able to score at least one, more often than not. I also got fed up of playing against shit teams and getting passed off the pitch because all of a sudden they turn into world beaters when they get in your half. I play on World Class so dont know if thats anything to do with it? Also thought the Defensive AI was a bit gash and especially more frustrating when all cpu attackers have amazing close conrtol and can run rings around you. One last negative, playing online - chipped through balls. Half the time the defender tries to cut it out without me telling him to so and misses it, the other half when i change the player to be the nearest he stops running the second i hit L1. leaving him through on goal. Overall it is a good game, very well polished with player faces/kits/stdiums/commentary/decent gameplay, but I just feel its sapped all the fun out of it, I'd almost prefer it to be a little more acradey and free flowing. Can see why people enjoy tho, just not for me!

Kurtsimonw, what is your opinion on the realism of the amount of bullets it takes to kill people?

I don't think the actual game will be the same though, last year the demo was ridiculously hard aswell but the full game wasn't. I think it's just a matter of getting used to it and knowing how the CPU plays. I generally only play online with FIFA Ultimate Team anyway so wont make much difference for me. . I'm not going to risk it personally, its gruelling playing this years. No fun at all. might rent it tho to check!

You can change the controls back to the old ones from the settings. Will only work for offline though. Yeah I suppose but I only play FIFA online, thanks for the heads up tho mate.

I can't get to grips with this FIFA, I've been playing them since 08, but this new defending has sapped all the fun out of it for me. I appreciate why its considered more realistic, but ultimately less fun for me. I don't like spending ages trying to gett he ball back while the cpu effortlessly glides through my team with ease. on fifa 11 I played on legendary and won more often than not. I find majority of my games on the demo are boring 0-0s going to penalties. Just not fun anymore, gonna give PES a chance to redeem itself this year!

Another typical response. I assume you've interviewed every good COD player on their emotions when getting nukes. But yes, let's end it here on the assumption that you understand when debating your opinion on the concept of realism in a game, it doesn't mean I want everything in the game to be realistic, and as a result rendering most of your last points made redundant. :nod:

Still doesn't change the FACT that i was debating your opinion on realism. Debating. Debating doesnt somehow mean Im telling you I want the whole game to be realistic... Lot's of good COD players got thrills off getting nukes. Another silly thing to say there again not make a point. It's just your subjective opinion on them. .....You get angry and dont like the game becaus of noobtubers and commando pro...hahahahahaha I'm miserable too!

You do make me laugh how seriously you take this. You're missing the point, again. Just because i debate your opinion on whats realistic, doesnt mean i want the whole game to be realistic. I have no idea how you worked that one out. So that kind of blows your whole arguement out the water yet again.

I also only said it's more realistic that fewer shots kill. I didn't say I wanted the whole game to be perfectly realistic. It was just an opinion. So I have no idea why you did a massive comparison of realism compared to your flaws of the game. Not sure what you're trying to accomplish by doing that.

It takes 2 shots if your shoot them from miles away or at their feet. In the chest or head it takes one with a shotgun. Comes down to skill. Range on commando isnt the same of a shotgun. I act like I can just run up to a sniper and stab them? Silly comment, you act like you get stressed out and rage quit every time someone kills you via one of the "flaws". I don't take them seriously at all, I have a light hearted approach and look to be positive about them, and enjoy them for what they are. Not just giving up on the game because you're not skillful enough and then has to criticise it all, even though you're that good at the game that you've got bored of getting nukes.... :winkold:

Would your Uncle have survived being shot twice in the head or chest and carried running around? I know I wouldnt. They've taken SOME of them out because people with lack of skill complain about it. ;-) if someone is stabbing with commando, get your shotgun out. works for me....but im skillful if someones noobtoobing; snipe them when theyre reloading. flashbang them then shoot them. flashbang them then stab them. throw a grenade. stun them then shoot them. avoid that part of the map or wait to go with someone else and intelligently take that player out, you know with skill! If someone is camping and sniping, dont go out in the open maybe? strategically make your way around then flash them? grenade them? stun them? shoot them? I can continue. (I can be sarcastic too) I agree about one man army but the rest of it is just the fun of the game and there are ways around it if you use your brain. Youre obviously a very passionate gamer, and maybe take them too seriously and are a perfectionist when it comes down to them?

Me and no it's not more realistic, it's less realistic. In Black Ops I think it takes 3 or 4 hit markers (depending where you hit) to kill someone. That isn't even realistic, but at least you can still have the opportunity to get away and it makes it harder to kill since the recoil on the guns. In IW games it's 2 or 3 hits for the kill and there's no recoil so it makes it far too easy. As for MW2 gameplay, if you can't see the flaws there's no point in arguing. It wasn't a level playingfield, far from it. You can not possibly defend yourself against some things, like danger close noob tubes, marathon/lightweight/commando and that's why it was a poor game and that's why these things are no longer in the game. And the reason I didn't get tonnes of nukes is because once I get the emblem I stopped using them because they were boring. I'm pretty sure its more realistic if fewer bullets kill you. I don't think I'd survive2/3 bullets personally and not just run away. I know its a game. But we are talking about realism here aren't we.... People who get annoyed at the "flaws" I just perceive as lack of skill. There are so many ways around each type of flaw if youre intelligent about it. If we refer back to realism, how many people survive getting blown up by a grenande in real life and go sprinting off? Its a war game, shit happens. Do it back to them? go and commando pro them? snipe them from distance? Plenty of ways around it. Youre the first person I've ever heard describe getting nukes as boring. I personally find it quite a challenge and thrill getting them!

I can't wait for this game. Although doesnt look massively different so far, the gameplay features to encourage teamwork will make a massive difference I think! The people moaning about MW2 online gameplay confuse me. I think it was quite nicely balanced. If it was soooo easy to get a nuke each time, why didnt you get a nuke each time? You would be the best player ever on mw2, how can that be boring? Then theres people moaning about commando/lightweight users? and then danger close noob tubers? and then quickscopers? and campers? Surely it's just down to your skill to read the game and see how its going, to decide what tactic to use. If everyone is noobtubing then its an even playing field and just down to your skill? the same with the other so called game ruining tactics. Youve all got access to the same weapons in the end?! if you havent got them yet, thats just the risk/challenge you take through prestigeing? Who complained about the bullet damage? Surely it's realistic if only a few bullets kill someone? I personally thought it takes too many to kill in ordinary team deathmatch.

I hope to God they put Villa Park in it this year. Driving me mad!!
