    Was he at fault for the defeat tonight? And still at least 10 people are in here criticizing him as one of the first things to do after the game. Just checked, and not even Diaby gets anything close to the abuse this guy gets after todays game

    I had a period were i didn't find any joy in watching Villa, because 2 of the strikers I hated most was playing for us, Carew and Heskey. Eventually I started to like Carew, but Heskey never had a chance

    I’m happy that we have Emery as our manager and I’m really happy that he has given us some of the best moments that I can remember in my 40 years as a Villa supporter, but that doesn’t mean we can’t question his approach or changes or lack of

    Maybe if he had made the change against United instead of a piss-poor and invisible JJ, we would have got something against a side there for the taking…

    We keep finding excuses for how he missed this chance and the one against Sheffield, but he is a professional footballer and chances like that should be put away, bounce or no bounce

    Not sensible at all, taking way too long to switch things around when something is clearly not working. Should have substituted Diaby and JJ after 60 minutes to give people from the bench game time and add energy to our attack and press Burnley higher up the pitch

    It’s a joke giving our substitutions 10-15, when we could have given them a proper 30 minutes to finish of the game

    Bar the 2 goals we have been f*****g atrocious. Changes should have been made at halt-time

    When the opposition in having a really low back-line, we need players on the pitch who isn’t afraid to have a go from distance. That way the opposition needs to push forward in order to prevent that and that will create space behind them. Yesterday we didn’t have players on the pitch who could/would do that

    So You are telling me that, if it had been Bailey, Tielemans, Traore, Zainiolo, Dendoncker who missed that chance, then nobody would have mentioned it...
