On paper our defense still looks a little lightweight. Unless Richards can Emulate Vlaar when he was on form and Okore becomes the player that he was hyped to be! Apparently were in for Ntep from Stade Rennais too (left winger).

If I got on a plane to Birmingham expecting talks which could consequently decide my future at a new club and then the club I'm with decides "nope come back lolololol", then i'd be pissed too. The club can't expect anything other than twattish behavior because they have conducted themselves poorly.

Don't think he's a direct replacement for Benteke. Seems to me Sherwood is keen to spread goals throughout the squad rather than through one player, which was almost our downfall last season.

He's a RM on fifa so I guess he's predominantly been playing there in previous seasons. 15 goals is decent from a wide forward!

Who's gunna play RM? If Bacuna plays there and Hutton goes RB, will we get another RB? Sherwood clearly wants to play Gil centrally and he's not really a winger. Bacuna provided some decent assists and seems much more suited committing forward, where he can be more of an outlet.

Okay **** Delph. Back to business! He's not as good as Barry or Milner were for us - just a shame about the fee. We can replace him. He provided energy, decent passing, and decent dribbling while breaking up play, despite not being a great tackler. Jack of all trades, master of none? Reliable and did the job for us - but bear in mind we've been flirting with relegation for years. He looked good cos we're shit. Didn't offer many assists or goals either. We can replace him! We'll be getting 32.5 million for Benteke as well. UTV!!
