This is where I am. His nervousness and reluctance to come out to claim permeates the entire defence. It’s an absolutely huge difference between the 2, Martinez is a leader. I hope it is him just getting up to speed but I’ve seen very little personally to suggest this is the case, I just don’t think he’s very good, at all.

I hate watching this Spurs team, one of the more boring sides in the league. Our high line will possibly be playing into their hands somewhat as the game plan is very counter-attack orientated. Was feeling quite confident, thought a 1-1 draw most likely as Kane is almost guaranteed to score against us. Olsen starting has reduced any confidence to rubble unfortunately, the effect he has on the entire defence is undeniable.

It’s going to take some time for the players to adjust to the new strategy but on the face of it a high-line against Liverpool is suicidal, particularly as they’ve been struggling to create against low blocks this season. That said we’ve created chances and he did a job on them as Sevilla coach. Martinez is a huge miss both in terms of organisational ability and individual.

It was very awkward defending but initial thought was Martinez is out and claims that relatively straightforwardly as it’s clearly not a back pass. Olsen is very static, as we’ve seen in previous matches, and ends up having to pull out a 1-1 save due to it. This is based on the one viewing in real time so I could be wrong…
