I really hope this Fernandez deal goes through. Can’t see it as anything but completely reckless, degenerate gambling. He played 40 games in the Argentinian league over 3 seasons. Moved to Benéfica this year and has played 14 league games, and obviously had a very good World Cup. Does that make a £100m+ player? Hope this new owner blows up the club, he’s making all the right moves for me. Reminds me of Everton after their takeover, on steroids.

Definitely no Saudi state-level collusion/involvement in Newcastle though. Pure coincidence. I’m sure we’ll never quite met the criteria of “evidence” needed to remove the owners though as is in the terms.

Chelsea are dire, do not deserve to be leading here. I’m still yet to discover the reason why there was a clamour for Cucurella in the summer and why Chelsea paid £60m for him. Always looked bang average to me and slow. -
What a freak goal for Chelsea there. Forest were giving it a decent go as well. When you are down there in the table it really does feel like luck is against you.

Absolutely love this guy, we look so well drilled and everyone knows their role. It really is night and day compared to the last fraud as are the results: Couldn’t have picked a much harder starting run of fixtures and he’s picked up 9 points out of 12 against: United, Brighton Away, Liverpool and Spurs Away. Incredible.

Restricted them to very little but also offered no threat ourselves. Turned too passive last 10/15 minutes and let them dictate, think this will be corrected at HT. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Buendia for Coutinho although his defensive work-rate may be enough to hold this off till after HT. It will open up 2nd half.

Typical spurs game this, it’s like they play for 0-0. Should open up 2nd half as a draw isn’t much use for them.

This is where I am. His nervousness and reluctance to come out to claim permeates the entire defence. It’s an absolutely huge difference between the 2, Martinez is a leader. I hope it is him just getting up to speed but I’ve seen very little personally to suggest this is the case, I just don’t think he’s very good, at all.
