    Let’s all throw our arms in the air in collective outrage as Chester has gone and championship Boro have just signed Harold Moukoudi on a loan with view to buy .... Another failing of Suso and the club ... Lol Edit: also just read that the mighty Boro are also battling Man Utd and Benfica for Adolfo Gaich Young Argentine striker previously linked or mentioned ... this news will surely top some other the edge and is another failing of the club.

    Out of respect for him as a professional after he put his body on the line for us... they just feel Revan is ready to step up and fill the void of someone with a shot knee and zero league minutes this season perhaps ?

    I think we should fire Suso and appoint certain villatalk posters in this place as they seem too feel they know better based on some of the comments I’m reading. Apparently he has been neglectful and not been trying to secure the right player(s) at the right price of the right character and is only Interested in signing players from obscure counties to boost our Twitter following ... ( last but made up for effect ) I guess we did once manage to sign Young & Carew many January’s ago so it should be easy to repeat this every year and the four things that need to be in alignment according to Smith in signing players is just an excuse.

    Dominic Revan is ample back up for Mings, Hause, Engels, Konsa IF and it’s a big IF we suffer no more long term injuries. Maybe it’s a risk worth taking. Also do some posters just want us to smash our wage structure and pay a reckless fee on a short term striker fix with no guarantee of success and whose signing could impact our summer recruitment? Or do we trust them to make the decision that if relative value Isn’t available or preferred targets aren’t that we wont to be held to ransom and make a signing just for the sake of it? I’m convinced if no one comes in today it won’t be for lack of trying and that we have a long term plan and are sticking to it in terms of fees wages and calibre of player.

    One of my favourite Villa memories is as a 13 YO running onto the pitch against Inter after Phil King’s winning penalty... I was sat right in the half way line in lower Witton and about 3/4 Rows back .... anyways as people surged towards the pitch the stewards were actually telling people to go to avoid a crush as there was no stopping it ... I hugged Ugo ... .. anyways it was an amazing experience standing on the pitch with thousands of jubilant , emotional , delirious Villa comrades standing together in a moment of history.. The sheer emotion of standing on the same turf as your hero’s seconds before under the floodlights ... pitch soft like a carpet... It was unforgettable.... Now flip side.... What happened to jack at Sty and Maddison? One day a player will get injured which is unacceptable and though I have done what I’m about to condone... The risk is too high and this has to stop and we should be punished accordingly.

    let’s not get too carried away he isn’t McGrath or Laursen. He was reasonably good for us in the championship not excellent. Grateful he made his choice for the good of the team and has to be lauded but not turned into something he wasn’t. I have no doubt we want him to stay but we have respectfully left the decision to him and will waive any fee... Happy either way. Wish we could get Nathan Collins in exchange +. £££

    Chester is past it, wasn’t amazing but great servant and we should do the honourable thing and let him decide what he wants to do ... stay and fight to warm the bench or find pastures new. No room for sentiment I’m afraid. Back to transfers William Jose is being hawked all round the prem for £25mill loan to buy... As is half the Chinese league. It’s gunna be a disappointing last day me thinks in some respects.

    We should long term consider implementing the one competent plan of Xia’s I’ll fated reign and look to build either relationships with a club. Or we look to do what citeh have done and build an Aston Villa international club network long term. They part own Girona just so they can send players there like Douglas Luiz to gain experience and hopefully long term a WP. Something we should do IMO once we are established.

    I was speaking with a mate last night about Bellingham and he posed the question would his transfer fee be included towards FFP as he is under 17 wouldn’t it considered part of academy expenditure which falls outside of FFP ? Wouldn’t think so myself but an interesting point ... any ideas ?

    It’s stupid that the whole window has to be condensed into one month as only agents win .. it should be open for longer... Perhaps Dec—Jan giving clubs longer to complete deals during this hectic stage of the season.... Have we launched our bids or are we just preparing them . What irons are in the fire during this difficult January window and what will get across the line before it slams shut ...

    In my boredom I’m making up stuff to pass the time... I reckon we have loan agreements in place for Piatek , Alcacer etc and others but they are hesitant to join our mighty club due to our current position in the league and seeing what else is on offer before committing to joining us. Can I now be considered ITK now ?

    Good point I meant I’m surprised we didn’t go in for him considering our current predicament and the fact he looks to be availble on loan.
