Not saying it'll be significant investment but IMO the fact that the talks were supposedly "productive" probably means that Lambert will at least have a bit to spend. Lerner will spend the minimum he thinks will keep his investment in the league. Another relegation worried year if Lambert and Lerner stay.

If there's no new owner lined up then the way he's run the club is even worse than originally thought. A manager disliked by most. A poor squad And just had our worst ever prem year. To allow it to get to that, state you want out and not have something lined up is shocking. Hopefully there is someone out there.

If there is nobody interested in buying the club, what exactly do you expect Lerner to do? Pull one out of his arse? He has said he will try and sell the club, what else can he do now? Sack Lambert? Try and hire another manager potentially without a single penny to spend? Should I be praising and thanking him for it? At the moment it looks like another in a long line of **** ups that end up damaging the club.

Good point. My gut feeling is NFL owner, surely there's some American sports fans who can give us a list of well run teams who have under performed.

I think kwan hinted it was an American who currently runs his team in America well but they've not been very successful recently.

Why would the media agree to this? Apparently if you break an embargo - you don't get news from that club again........so I read somewhere ! I could imagine a local paper agreeing to it under those terms but surely not the entire media.

Kozak isn't a goal scorer, certainly not at a high level. He scored 4 goals. 2 of which the majority of us on here would score. As for Lambert I'm getting more and more worried that we will start the season with him in charge.

If Lambert was being sacked why would he keep it secret? What benefit is it to Lambert to be out of a job and for it to be a secret?

New owners would be making a big mistake if they even consider Lambert as manager. The majority of fans don't want him and he's had two awful seasons. Surely any smart person would decide a new start is required.
