  1. Nah, lose to Bristol at home and we are teetering but our destiny is still in our hands even if we take nothing home tonight
  2. Have you seen that episode of Alan Partridge where he doesn’t get a new series commission, he doesn’t tell his staff and starts cursorily sacking them for petty offences like leaving cups near computers. The ref is THIS
  3. I’d rather Whelan on for Conor. Whole midfield is gash, just not clicking, McGinn out of sorts. Maybe Whelan to anchor the middle and let Jack and McG push up.
  4. Their form has gone to their heads, thought they just had to turn up. They have been totally abject, summed up by Tammy penalty. Mings now misses Bristol too, our biggest game to date, we could have messed it all up here tonight
  5. A really great finish yesterday, it seems to have been overlooked in the drama that unfolded. Everyone is lauding Jack and Mings at the moment, but look back over the last 3 to 4 games and its McGinn that’s been the difference, he really is playing very, very well and his finishing is terrific. And he is getting better and better too. Scary
  6. Not true. A few instances of flapping today, but fortunately didn’t cost us. First time in his return no1 spell where I had my doubts. Still voted him our MOTM
  7. Seems like fate now, but how much of a tease was this afternoon! BBC website had Bristol City with 5 more points than they should which had me worried. Our fate is now in our own hands (if we win every match)
  8. Wednesday have worked hard in fairness, pressed us constantly in possession. We been rushed and very scrappy. We could have won with better vision
  9. I missed most of the first half but we look a bit disjointed so far this half?
  10. I understand the sentiment, fighting with hope and winning and being competitive is a welcome change. But the problem is that used to be us in the top tier. The last 6 years in the PL was just circling around the drain, no fun. But I too have enjoyed the Championship actually, and we are a bottom half PL team at present.
  11. Bristol City didn’t look great tonight, Boro just awful but could have still nicked a draw, they defo won’t figure in the play off reckoning, Pulis will surely get the chop if they miss out - 5 straight defeats now. Still worries about our run in though, we literally cannot afford any slip ups or we will get pipped, especially with Norwich and Leeds to play. If we win away on Saturday I will feel a lot happier.
  12. Interesting contrast in promoted teams this season: Wolves have excelled, Fulham surprisingly struggled after their momentum, and spending, but no surprise with Warnock’s Cardiff, I wonder if Sala would have made any difference?
  13. We were just terrible in our final season but Fulham have been surprisingly bad, just shows the gulf in general quality at PL level. Had half an eye on Bryan this season, he hasn’t ripped up any trees but been a regular. I remember reading some billy big balls Fulham fan on twitter taking the p*ss out of us when they gazumped Bryan, losing his mind at their spending, he claimed they would finish 6th or higher. How I wished I had kept a note of his account because I would love trolling him tonight.
  14. Wow, we got to keep this going, the chasing pack and games in hand could make us sweat until the final day.
  15. But with our current bizarre run, Kodjia will be a revelation and score 10 in the run in
  16. I think it’s mings Hause AND Grealish, not one individually. jack does allow our midfield to play and we can hold the ball whereas we surprisingly couldn’t without him
