    Agree with this, can we not sign proven quality at this level? Is it too much to ask of this inept manager? But it's a cover signing for Kozak. Not a first choice player. I would hope we sign more experienced players in the positions we desperately need to fill. Why waste our limited budget then?

    Its not really. Yes it is, it's not how a premier league club of our stature should act Didn't Man U sign Nick Powell from League One Crewe? All clubs look at the lower leagues and I doubt IF he were to come here that he'd be our only signing. We consistently dip into the lower leagues though, our squad is full of them, top clubs only sign exceptional players from lower leagues like nick powell

On to the question what 'number 10' I would sign if I had 3.5m and around 20k on wages, thinking I would sign Lewis Holtby on loan for the season. I think holtby would cost a lot more than that and be on higher wages but I would love to see him here Why would Holtby cost more than 3.5m if we managed to get him on loan?? For example let's say he is on 65k at Spuds and we agreed to pay 60% towards his wages, it would cost £700,000 odd to loan him from January to May. I thought he meant permanently

    We didn't last year. And we've got a chairman tighter than a gnats chuff. We did, Dawkins and sylla We borrowed Dawkins, we didn't sign him. Still a loan SIGNING

    What about when he tore us apart at Villa Park earlier in the season? He's a top quality player and would be a fantastic signing. Agree I think he's excellent, should be getting in the spurs team I think
