I was told that ITV pundits have been told to tone down how in depth the analysis is so everyone can understand it. Which to one degree is okay for the person who knows nothing about football. But i don't feel i should have to watch Southgate and Townsend stating the obvious. I'll always remember the Champions League games where Sherringham was on it, and he pretty much would say "all team A need to do is score to win"... like... duh!!!???

NRC is just a really bad footballer... Really good engine though, but it's useless when you make a 5 yard pass look awkward. NRC's lack of football skill isn't a myth created by VT, it's an opinion of what i'd say 90% of Villa fans i speak to about him.

Well obviously you have Delph coming through aswell! If Gilberto Silva can still do it for Brazil then i see no reason why Parker doesnt have a few years left in him... All i do know is, as long as it's not Nigel Reo-coker... we'll be okay!

Ireland has a massive amount of talent, a lot of creativity, good movement and is a major threat going forward. Milner is a totally different player, he's far more hard working and is pretty good at everything. If we do sign Ireland, i do feel we'd need to sign a different defensive midfielder with a lot more about them then Petrov in terms of energy and defensive ability. Whilst i really like Petrov, if we're to lose Milners drive, it needs to be replaced somewhere. Bottom line is, Ireland will give us much more creativity going forward, and if we can cover defensively in what we'd lose from Milner, then... i think we'd be alright.

SWP is brilliant to bring on 80minutes into a game just to chase things down and hit on the counter when the opposition is knackered. Other then that he's pretty lame.

Yeah and Dunne was also one of these players who they deemed not good enough. He's one of our best players! Those 3 players have proper talent, and it's there and I think someone like MON would get the best out of them. Getting Man City rejects is hardly a bad thing, they are aiming for a totally different calibre of player then what we are.

Well you can get games wich have be designed for 3D. Few and far between at the minute but will be pretty popular soon i think! But the Samsung 3DTVs have a 2D - 3D converter! So whatever you're doing your TV can convert it to 3D..... not tried this out yet! Will give Fifa and COD a blast tomorrow in 3d and see what it's like!

Was from here Havent had much chance to play with it yet, currently moving flats, but from what i have seen it looks pretty ace! HD looks stunning! And 3D on the PS3 is really fun aswell, had a few mates round and they were slightly hooked!

Bad news

There's loads of things in life i hate, doesnt mean i'll ever fall out of love of living. There's loads of things about people i hate, doesn't mean i won't stop loving people though There's loads of things in football i hate, and i'll never fall out of love with it. At the end of the day, there's nothing better then going around the country supporting Villa. Makes me happy.

I'm fairly positive he's going to go now. Although i hardly feel positive about it and it's such a shame. If he was going to stay, something would have been said by now. We must be lining up replacements before selling him i guess. With Sidwell going to the Spam (well it looks like it) ... maybe we'll go in for Parker.

When Arteta leaves, it will be a cash deal. Yeah i'd imagine so. As an Everton fan, what value would you put on Arteta? You see for me, i'd say he's worth between 12-15m, but at the same time as a Villa fan i think Milner is worth 30m to us. So what do you value Arteta for Everton?
