  1. Own a pair of Umbros for 5 a side, nothing special. Nike pair for general running/tennis/squash/whatever. Pair of Kangaroos for hockey. Other than that I don't wear trainers as such. Own a very nice pair of Merrell shoes (or is it Merrill, not sure), so comfortable, brilliant shoes, pair of sketchers, same as the Merrills comfort wise and got a knackered old pair of Converse which are quite nice but would only wear them to be scruffy or with shorts as none of my others really go with shorts and I wear shorts a lot in summer. Don't buy into the whole trainer snobbery thing really, but having said that if I had the money some classic adidas trainers would probably be added to the collection.
  2. There are already forums where you can go to mix with other fans. They serve a purpose, so do we. This is ours.
  3. In theory yes but too many people will abuse the system, won't work. Which is a shame.
  4. Much to Nibbly's delight no doubt my avatar is changed.
  5. Bah, alright alright, I'll sort it tomorrow, maybe.
  6. Wurzel begins to regret ordering a guitar off the internet
  7. Not really a debate this is it? More of a cake love in.
  8. Cakes go hard when they go off, biscuits go soft. So by that they're surely a cake? No?
  9. No chance. We'll finish 12th-16th.
  10. What, the same Mourinho who with the best squad in the prem lost 3-0 to a team we beat 4-0 the week before? He's rubbish him, never rated him
  11. Don't you reckon that looks like Ron Atkinson will in about 15 years?
  12. JC relaxes at his new computer, briefly leaving VT to visit Rob's blog and try out some of the positions with his invisible friend.
  13. CV lets working for the homo office get to his head and launches an unprovoked attack on Ryu and Guardian (forgotten his name actually, the other Colombian anyway).
  14. Very good Trim However I have long hair now so look less and less like him and more like one of the Monkees apparently, not intentionally. I'd expect on his return from injury Owen to have hair much like mine though, he shaved it for the first time about 2 weeks after I did.
  15. Trim reacts angrily when someone suggests that ket may have longer lasting effects than he thinks.
  16. Could well be. The middle one looks familiar as well I just can't quite get the name. Vaguely Michael Schumacher I guess but that's not who I was thinking off.
  17. At the launch of Puma's kit for the German National team NV's claims to really be English underneath hold less ground than ever. CV very helpfully offered to model the black jacket etc.
  18. Laughing Gravity was gutted when he turned up to the party to find out it was fancy dress and he'd just come in his everyday robes. :winkold:
  19. I've promised I'll boycott, and I didn't go to any games over Christmas because of it other than Manyoo which I already had tickets for. Made the decision after the Doncaster game, couldn't stand paying for that any longer, over £100 including travel to see us play 4 lose 4 concede 10 and score 1 just isn't worth it. I can't stick with it though, I'm sure I'll end up at the WBA and SHA games over Easter whether there's a takeover or not. My issue isn't really with Ellis although it goes back to that, just the lack of passion shown by the team. As I'll be in Liverpool the weekend of the Everton game I'll struggle not to go to that one.
  20. Yeah I heard Aitken say he had no idea who he was. That doesn't mean he's not a Villa fan though does it. I thought he was a season ticket holder, or used to be anyway.
  21. I notice you haven't voted Iain...
  22. DOL out, long live kind Sven! (joking). DOL stays for same reason as before. No manager can do better in these conditions.
  23. Come on, a poll like this after a very good run of games. Everyone knows after the Doncaster performance I thought that was the end, if he hadn't turned it round over Christmas we'd have been completely stuffed, but luckily he did. I did want him gone, but I also said there's no point until the takeover is decided one way or another. So I thought he should stay, which he did. Things have changed though since the Doncaster game, we almost needed that. DOL has started to look like he cares, stopped making excuses and the team actually look like they want to play for him.
