But surely every source of information is just as poor? If you read enough you get a wide range of opinions, don't tell me you've found a source of information that is totally unbiased and is a fantastic way of informing you about everything? And don't say the internet, because a lot of the news content you read on here comes from those very newspapers.

Noticed the Daily Mail getting a bashing in the other thread, and rightly so if you ask me, so I was wondering what newspaper you read if given the choice. Personally it's the Guardian, mainly because my parents always bought it so I just carried on when I got to uni, good sports section, fairly reasonable views expressed as far as I'm concerned and just generally a good paper. Being a student the Sun sometimes gets bought by someone in the house so I read that as well, but mainly for the sport section. So what's your newspaper of choice?

One thing I do know about Eastwood is that he lives on a caravan site, where he's lived all his life, and doesn't really want to move, so that sort of limits him to moving to London clubs (it's over in Essex somewhere). From what I've seen of him he's ok, not amazing.

Don't think its been mentioned but tribalfootball link us with Stearman, who's a Leicester defender, not sure if he's a full back or a centre back or what though, mention £750k.

Paddy - the same was exactly said about Agathe and look how that ended up!!! I don't think Balde is the right option IMO as he's at the wrong end of his career and probably hasn't played more than a handfull of testing games in Scotland - if MON wants back up at the back I suggest we buy another RB and allow Olly to return to the middle (+ buy Curtis Davies :winkold: ) Well Agathe never impressed me half as much as Balde. Also just because one player ended up like that doesn't mean they all will. Who was keen on signing Sutton? Not me for one, but I hold my hands up and say I was wrong.

I liked Baldé a few years back at Celtic, always seemed to put in a good performance when I saw him, haven't seen him play for a couple of years now though so could have gone downhill a bit.

This is something that was looked at a few years back, basically because people were abusing the system. Signing up for a course that they never attended (just a night course at college or something) just so they could officially count as a student and get cheaper ticket prices even if they were in their 40s. Maybe a compromise would be making it students under 25 or something? As far as I'm aware it's anyone under 21 at the moment not just students, I've never been asked for a student card (or even id recently for that matter). I do know what you mean though Rodders, next time I attend a game I'll probably have to pay full price (might just squeeze one in before my 21st I don't know). I agree on this one. Have recently bought my half-season ticket and its very annoying to have to pay adult prices while being a student. Really i can't afford it but its such a good time to be a Villa fan i find myself going to almost every home game anyway. Most of the games I attend are away games anyway when life is normal and I'm yet to come across a club up north that offers student discounts to away fans so I tend to pay over £30 a ticket anyway.

Also General you say you have made people aware of the situation with the plastic mancs sitting in our end at games such as against Manyoo. I hope this doesn't mean that you've just informed the head of stewarding or whatever, because there's no doubt they're aware of it, they just turn a blind eye and its shocking, it always ends up with Villa fans getting ejected for getting so wound up at them. So can you tell the stewards that if there are blatant manyoo fans in our end they should be ejected, no questions asked, they should not be there, simple as that, the standard of stewarding is appalling in some parts of the ground (though I'm aware of what a tough job it can be).

If Mascherano can't cut it in English football yet he keeps Duscher out the national side, what makes you think Duscher can cut it? I suppose he has played in Europe before but I'd see it as quite a gamble.
