Thumbs up to K-Mac - I reckon he was thinking he may not get another chance at this so he was going to take the chance to put some of his proteges at the end there! I really loved watching this game. The excitement in the crowd, the courage of Clark and Albrighton - and the players really seemed to be enjoying themselves. Luke Young appeared to play his way back into a long-term stay as well. Oh and James Milner conducted himself in an exemplary manner - well done sir. But ask yourself this - do you really want to trade in this team spirit for the petulant prima donnas at city?

Randy wouldn't have even had the chance to meet with anyone face to face. There's no way Randy would appoint someone without meeting them and getting a feel for them & their philosophy. Exactly what is wrong with Bob Bradley that people are on the verge of spontaneously combusting over it? Personally I don't know much about him apart from what I saw at the recent world cup, which was pretty decent. I can understand the concern that he is untried in European football & thus a risk - fair enough. But the sheer histrionics in the reactions of some here over the prospect - I simply don't understand what it's based on.

Not happy with the Heskey deal at all. Giving them an England striker is one thing, but giving them 1.5m pounds as well to sweeten the deal seems overly generous.

To me if the rumour is correct and Sven has arrived this is a good thing because it shows Randy is getting on to interviewing potential candidates with immediate effect - it's good news & doesn't mean in the slightest that Sven is definitely going to get the job.

I think many people's views are tainted by his character and private life - his association with the seedier side of football is probably a factor. Personally I think he's a Swedish Phil Brown - decent manager but a real rocket polisher.

Not particularly hairy myself but I was wondering about guys who are particularly hairy and always have that seemingly arbitrary line where the facial hair ends and the chest hair begins - how do you decide where to shave to? Well if Ireland is not in the Man City 25-man squad in Spetember he is unlikely to get added to it in January. There is no way Stephen Ireland would be happy playing just the odd cup game and a few Europa league matches. If he misses the 25 he'll be out this window.
