  1. The only question that matters, is who is Putin backing?
  2. Tories are also going to gain a load back from UKIP with Nuttall as leader. The leadership debates are going to be a painful watch. May will be her usual thick as s**t, Sturgeon will hammer on about independence, Nuttall will make up some crazy facts about himself, and Corbyn will read out some letter from a nurse.
  3. It's quite disheartening that we are currently 18 points behind this lot in the league.

I see where your coming from, but there's a reason he invites Western journalists to these things and then packs the place out with civilians and children.

US on MOAB strikee: "There is no evidence of civilian casualties" Of course not, it completely obliterates everything in a mile radius.
  7. The 2018 World Cup is going to be an absolute cluster***k isn't it?
  8. Reports now that an MP report believes voter registration site for Brexit referendum may have been taken down by a foreign power in a DDOS attack prior to vote.

Spicer : "Hilter didn't gas his own people like Assad did." I can't even. I take it he thinks being Jewish meant you couldn't be German.

Wow, I'm actually impressed how much this has worked for Trump. He's been itching for an excuse to bomb somewhere for day one. Russian ally Assad duly obliges. And now people are actually going, "Yeah Trump!" When he unilaterally bombs another sovereign state, without going through international diplomacy (less so than the Iraq War that makes people call Tony Blair a war criminal now) or even his own parliament. Yes the chemical attacks were awful, but the continuing acts of ISIS in Syria are awful. There are currently wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Darfur, Nigeria, Libya, Yemen, South Sudan... I could go on. There are probably children dying horrible deaths all over the world in conflicts, do we expect Trump should bomb all these too? The world can only act through diplomacy, it isn't the best solution, but it prevents us all from being dragged into a worldwide conflict.

That was my immediate thought when I first heard about it.
  14. I'm a big Adams fan and it deviates massively from the source material (in that all it has is his name's Dirk Gently and he's a holistic detective) But it's actually really enjoyable, and it's all the secondary characters that are great.
  15. It is only in my opinion. Watch if you don't mind things a little weird. I should note my other half hates it.
  16. It's the absolute glee on Howard's face as he's discusses this, that gets me. He can barely contain his excitement.
  17. 3 foot is 914mm not a meter. If you went by that over only say 3m. You'd have 9 foot, which is only 2742mm. You'd be 258mm (or about 10") short.
  18. Finished watching Legion and I can confirm it is comfortably the best Marvel TV series. There is an amazing small moment in the last episode
  19. I didn't mean it was broken, but some companies play through their games before releasing (even delaying them), just to make sure they are actually good. I think Persona 5 was originally meant to be out in 2014. Rockstar delay their games all the time. I'd rather it be late and good, than a standard EA or Ubisoft half ass.
  20. How about just play testing your games properly before releasing them.
  21. Again on the unelected Europeans making our laws. You had a democratic vote on the election of the European parliament, ask Nigel Farage, it's the only position he's ever managed to get elected too. Even then all laws still had to be passed through Westminster. The only unelected parliament is the House of Lords, and that is British.
  22. When they say you can't chose your family, but you can chose your friends. I have recently found the same is applied to people that you happen to be born in the same country as.
  23. I really think they could do prequel series with Oliver as part of a folk duo trying to make it in New York.
