  1. Also if you're Diane Abbot on TV and asked a question, just reply "I don't know"
  2. When your campaigning for an election and you're being interviewed on TV and someone asks you , are you a Marxist? You just say "no". It's not difficult, the story has nowhere else to run. It's the same if they ask you "Do you think gay sex is a sin?"
  3. I'm mean come on. If this is true, it's the sort of political incompetence I expect to see in Yes Minister or The Thick of It. How can someone get to be the leader of a major party, but have so little awareness of how to run a campaign and control his own public image. You can say but Jezza does things his way. But that"s just the equivalent of trying to send everyone a fax, when the rest of the world uses email.
  4. Think it was largely south, bit they have much bigger population centres. My area has a large farming and forestry industry and they weren't stupid enough to vote away the EU grants that give them so much money.
  5. I live Mid Wales we votes a big majority remain and I think this election we've one Labour councillors. (Although 0 Tories)
  6. You know it blows my mind that there are 34199 people in Surrey that directly voted for Jeremy Hunt. Jeremy Hunt!? You just can't help some people.
  7. Not until they get the thumb down from Len McCluskey.
  8. 1. You don't think another Labour candidate could also appeal to young voters? 2. Young voters don't vote in enough numbers to win elections, old people do. 3. "As well as they are" Are you John McDonnell?
  9. I know it would never happen, but love it if Corbyn stepped down due to poor results and Labour put it a new leader unopposed before the general election. For absolutely no other reason but to see the look of Theresa May's face, that she might have to do some proper campaigning.
  10. You'd be lucky to find a job in the service, or retail industries (A huge percentage of the UK workforce) that pays half that.
  11. I agree is a real problem in both politics and the media, and I blame the system of unpaid internships. For most people to get a job in either of these areas you'd need to work a couple of years experience, no pay. It's a system to weed out the poor people who couldn't realistically do that and live. So all the posts are filled by rich kids living off their families.
  12. There were millionaire MP's on both sides of the benches who voted the bill to cut tax credits and welfare of the poor. 184 Labour MP's didn't vote against it. Corbyn to his credit, did. I won't list them here, but it's easy enough to google.
  13. 8 councillors in my local council are getting straight back in uncontested. My problem with local government is I actually know a lot of the candidates personally and they're all dicks. My local Plaid councillor for example, was only at my work the other day and was talking with someone about how great he thought Marie Le Pen was, and how she had the right ideas.
  14. If I recall, it's the naked YMCA shower scene which really helped me look away.
  15. Worst movies ever, Can't Stop the Music: Village People the Movie. Trust Me.
  16. It's OK they'd recycle it.
  17. So we'll spend billions as a country trying to get trade deals with countries like China and India, but we'll be stubborn over £58bn with our largest trading partner and walk away from a trade deal for the sake of it? Like we wouldn't be paying that shortfall back tenfold in import/export tariffs. Yeah, right.
  18. He has set the team up exactly as I expected him too before he came, as it's what he's done every where he's managed. He won't change this mindset over the summer because he hasn't changed it over his managerial career.
  19. When Agbonlahor is the answer, the question can only be how f***ed are we?
