I too am getting very worried that we are going to dilly dally again and be left with the bunch of idiots we have at the moment or no manager in August as all the decent ones will be tied up. Another year of passionless, gutless and tepid football whilst skirting with relegation is really winding me up! There is no way we will be skirting with relegation next season with the current management team still in place, we will be **** relegated, and it wouldnt put it past them to have it do by Xmas. :evil:

For me its just not the manager that needs changing, it seems that our board have little or no knowledge of english football, and i believe this also don't help and will proberly explain why MoN has free run of the club. I think PF should also step down and Randy bring in someone with experience of the job. I'm not sure what he's doing currently but we couldnt go wrong with a david dein in our board room. Hopefully come the summer the whole of AVFC is overhauled and no stone is unturned and blame is placed at the appropiate doors and action is taken. That goes for Players, Manager, Assistant's and board room level. If we stick as we are then next year is gonna be more of the same, except this time i don't think we'll get out of it.

Evening General. I'm not here to request that the management be relieved of there duties as i believe that the right decision will be taken to correct there shambles of this season, if not any half decent players we had or ideas of attracting better players will be gone. I was never for GH from the start and stated that on this thread, i also said that for to long AVFC was a big team that liked to think small and this wonderful season has only gone to prove that further, you didnt agree previously with that comment but it still stands and the longer we persist with the current management it will remain. Also after the last game of every season the players do a lap of honour, can i request that this year it is abandoned as there has been nothing honourable about this season, and for the safety of the players and management team, i'd say it would be suicidial for them to do so this year.

sadly when you don't practise set piece's your asking for trouble, but don't worry were going to do that next year If dumb and Dumber stay we are fecked next season, our only way of keeping players that we need is to get rid asap of the joke management team.

Ok then so its MoN's fault, by going with that logic if we were to be sitting top 6 now and in the league cup final and looking like we have taken the next step , would you all still be crediting this to MoN or would you be saying this is because we have GH as manager. I will hold my hands up and say i never wanted him and beleive our board took the easy option, but i was willing to give him time, but we are 5/6 months into his managerial career at VP and he still hasnt got the players doing as he wants(or so people say). to me any half decent manager would proberly take 1/2 months maximum to start getting things right or at least half right, sory but i have seen nothing in the 5/6 months to say he is the right man for us and he will turn things round, we have gone from bad to worse. The board should of seen the signs from the start, his 1st press conference he said we are a 7th to 12th team. well sorry GH we werent, we had finished 6th 3 seasons running so we were a top 6 team, it was no coincidence his beloved liverpool finished 7th. Any manager coming in would have been bigging up the club and talking about taking us to the next level, he has never done that to this day. Yes he was left with the previous managers players but all he had to do was get them playing and in time he could change it to how he wanted, but no he come sin like a bull in a china shop. I thank MoN for where he got us to, yes im pissed off for him leaving as he did, but we were set up to at least compete around the same level. Only GH has himself to blame for where we are, and thats why he has to go, before the damage is unrepairable.

For me its got to be Randy and the board, we don't know why MoN left but we can all proberly see it was lack of investiment, do doubt losing milner and not being given the funds he thought he needed to keep us up in the top 6, i lost faith in MoN for walking out but, he could see to stand still you have to contnue to invest, regardless of the good and bad signings he made, he still out the players to give 100%. Then with MoN gone we dither for 4-6 weeks to bring in a manager that is well past his best, 90% of fans proberly didnt want him, but we went along with it as we love our club, now is the time for Randy to grow some balls and correct his mistake and get rid of GH, bring in someone more upto date with premiership or top league football and back him, if he can't do that then put us up for sale and hope that some rich arab comes calling.
