We have the luxury of testing davis for the whole season this time around. No one should realistically expect anything from villa this year. So why not just shove davis every game and see how he progress's? All the first team football will do him good, if oleary thinks he needs to pull him away from it for a while we've got about 10 other central midfeilders that will step in.

£250,000 is significant beacuse it shows the rest of the footballing world that we have no ambition. But we're goin to splash the cash before the end of the transfer window so its all going to be fine.

is that your realistic view or your optimistic view? Personally I'd hope for one more warmer but i wont hold my breath.

baros would be a great, ambitous signing and a happy replacement for vassell. But we've still been lied to if we dont sign more players ontop.

Spurs have spent shit loads and wont have a complete idiot in charge at the start of the season. With a net spend of £0 , after vassell leaves this is where we will finish. Liverpool will get knackered with them having far far too many games this year.

we'd pay far far far far more for our season tickets and merchandise however.... could see a few people moaning then. But im sure Glazer would have more ambition.... but then a turd has more ambition than Ellis.

given my opinion that we have very little money available compared what to everyone thinks (£6million) I'll go for 13th - 15th. Anything above is a bonus.

suppose it depeneds who your replacing, im sure most would be looking for a striker that works well with angel, i rekon Yak would be the best choice.... If you want a striker to work with vassell then thats another matter.

do any stato's know his penalty stats for his time with villa? I remember his penalty against leeds going in but i also remember, bolton at home and the ones this season. Let barry take them imo.

champ manager has it down as the silver kit :wink: :roll: I personally think he away kit looks very very good and my sponser has yet to peal off!!! weyhey!! I really dislike the home kit, the claret shevrons look messy, as does the whole the shirt. Last years home kit was better than this years. First time ive bought an away kit and no home shirt. I do have the home shorts tho.... so can i be all white when playing football (shows my lack of ability to slide tackle :wink: )

the top scorer and general hero will always be favourite but i still like melberg a lot.

Just wondering how many people have had problems with the logo comming off the new shirt? Is anyone washing the shirt insdie out like it suggests? havent worn mine yet as i dont want it wrecked before southampton (least get one game out of it :wink: )

i went for the one below this option as im set my sights low and wait to be plesentantly suprized if we do any better, rather than Ellis who expect the world and will end up complaining and crying at Oleary. well in the 1st film she had to blow up the whole ship to try and kill it and still failed, then blew it our of the air lock. In the second she had to nuke an entire colony (admittedly all the colonists had already been slaughtered), Then the queen took charge and killed the robot (more or less) and implanted this weaver bird. Then as a result, she had to kill herself so moral victory to the aliens i feel as she ended up dead anyways due to the aliens.... Then in the next film had to blow up a whole other ship, along with most of earth and then kill the baby thingy by again blowing out of the airlock (hole in door) like the queen in aliens. The aliens body count is far higher than the predators if taken on the first two films of each saga and even the bad ass high tech marines couldnt defeat the mighty aliens, where as a cop seemed to do quite well against the predator :shock: When taken into account the fact that earth was clearly knackered by the big ship crashing into it to kill the aliens and all the other dead people then there is no contest. Now ive played the game (alien vs predator 2, IMMENSE for £5 and would still be IMMENSE at a higher price) and the face huggers take the predators as hosts and a predalien is born which is a half alien half predator thingy so they've got another advatage there. I think this happens in the film judging on the trailer i downloaded. Long range you would fancy the Predator but the aliens are mighty quick and mighty sneaky, specially the face huggers. Short range its aliens every day of the week (even Saturday). In predator 2 at the end when the cops in the ship he see's the aliens skull collection and there is actually an alien skull there, bet u didnt know that. Lucky one off apparently, it was dying of old age and a predator took advantage of its weakness and just managed to kill it :wink: Dunno about the film even after seeing the trailer, if the predator even comes close to winning then i will be anoyed, im sure one or two heroic humans will survive tho. No weaver in this one as i think its set before the other films.
