  1. *shrugs* It's what liars do. Even when there's no point to the lie, just do it anyway. I assume the people who voted for them treat it like a masochistic relationship.
  2. Would appear not, just a similarly named organisation. Turns out that nasty, Brexity morons are still capable of their own Judean People's Front moments as well. https://uknip.co.uk/2020/05/15/picnic-of-death-in-the-park-is-nothing-to-do-british-freedom-movement-says-leader/
  3. The bold bit is the problem.
  4. Quite impressive that the DUP managed more to separate Northern Ireland from the rest of the UK in a few years than the Republican movement managed in half a century.
  5. Not every video. But if the content is anything like the website disseminating it, then that particular one is embarrassing Trumpy bullshit of the most egregious kind. You don't see anything contradictory about (in the same post) complaining about both large groups of dopey people gathering in London, and at the same time whining because we won't believe the dangerous lies that they (and you) are spreading?
  6. He really is a bad Trump tribute act. A bit less racism, slightly less dangerous misinformation, not quite as chaotic and shambolic. But still all there.
  7. At the moment they appear to love him, based on his favourability ratings. However I'm guessing the test of that popularity comes when the message he's passing on stops being "I'm going to give you all free money so you don't lose you jobs" and changes to "I'm going to take away all your free money so you will lose your jobs".
  8. I think I first saw it on here (probably describing the same person) and have tried to use it weekly in conversation ever since.
  9. There's also the rather massive issue that if "good, solid, British common sense" were a thing, that mountebank wouldn't be Prime Minister to reference it.
  10. Everything? No. Things that are likely to have shades of leniency and severity which will change over time and will likely cause confusion if there is a difference between what the legislation and guidelines say? Yes.
  11. Well yes. If somebody starts an exchange with "it's perfectly clear, it's obviously x", and then proceeds to give an incorrect understanding then it rather proves the point of people saying that it's not clear. No?
  12. Nope. The legislation in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland made no reference to the number of times. If I wanted to go out for six runs in one day this time last week, that was perfectly legal. The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2020, section 6.2 (b) if you're interested.
  13. How is that different to before?
  14. You may not meet them in a boat But you may meet them with a goat You may meet with them here or there But you must not meet them anywhere It matters not if they're friend or fam I hope that's clear now, Sam-I-Am.
  15. I've heard James Forsyth from the Spectator reference it a few times, but given the circumstances I'm surprised more people haven't gone to town with these old quotes... https://www.politics.co.uk/news/2011/10/18/boris-reveals-his-political-hero-the-mayor-fr
  16. I guess that the best thing to do is see what amendments are made to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2020. If none, do exactly as before and change nothing about your behaviour. If something, readapt based on those legislative changes.
  17. I'm sure there is some sort of point you're making here?
  18. Particularly the current one in this country. What sort of nutter would believe anything that he said about anything?
  19. I guess this is the sort of collateral damage that arises when fools vote for morons.
  20. People in England have been able to exercise as many times per day as they want. It was only in Wales that it was legally restricted to once per day.
