Completely disagree. The only concern I have with Cole is his ability to stay uninjured. If Woy uses him right he will be brilliant.

I was thinking that too. It's almost as if they treat transfer fee completely separately from wages. I suppose on the one hand wages are paid monthly rather than in a yearly lump sum like a transfer would be - so being more spread out they are smaller and easier to absorb. Plus they'll be selling a lot of fringers so I'd say that might add up to 90k p/w too.

The cynic in me thinks that a Piquionne on a signed 3 year deal might not be quite the player that a Piquionne who was on a loan deal playing for a permanent deal was last season. If you want to know why we hadn't heard of him until he was 30 years old then that might be one of the reasons.

£80k per week :shock: I didn't know that but for me, Parker, Noble, Collison (not sure if he's back from injury) are all better than him That's as maybe, but we both know a high profile signing like that will at the very least start the first game.
