Lol, we are so used to having a hermit for an owner that we spend page after page on here speculating about someone joining then suddenly someone has the sense to just ask Dr X outright and gets a straight answer. Lets have 10 pages discussing RVP now then ask him that one too. That said, if we all actually agree on someone we all want perhaps we could smuggle the name into one of the great mans fortune cookies!

As far as strikers go I would like to see Kozak, Gabby & Sinclair (not sure if hes classed as a striker at the mo) shipped out. Then add 2 more to Ayew & Gestede. Wouldnt mind trying to tempt Andre Ayew to join his brother if possible. Good player IMO

It doesnt matter either way. The result is (if the rumour is true) that Villa will receive £7m (which we apparently dont need) from whoever wants to buy his contract, and we will struggle to replace him!

Exactly this! A championship team will not attract better players than this. Its a buy out clause so it is what it is. The only thing we can do about it is offer him a new deal which is more attractive than any offers coming in. Its a lot easier (and probably cheaper) than trying to replace him.
