  1. This twitter malarkey is mental! I posted a pic of my 4 year old boy with his new prosthetic villa leg on and its being re-tweeted by loads of villa fans! :-) Apologies for posting this here but I'm sure quite a few of you may remember me showing pics of his first villa leg here when we were bored a few transfer windows back lol
  2. That was summed up by the fact that we didnt even allocate the No.10 shirt last season. As yet No.9 is still empty but I have a lot more faith this year that we will fill it.
  3. If we want proven 20+ per season championship scorers then Deeney or Rhodes fit the criteria. Rhodes and Rudy obviously have proven chemistry too.
  4. New to twitter so not sure how to copy someones comment onto here but basically someone has just said 5 more years until we see villa in champions league. Dr Tony said 'no, we dont need that many years!'
  5. Skybet gone from 16/1 yesterday to 6/1 on Rhodes joining Villa.
  6. Just saw that on Twitter, followed up 10 mins later by agent dave saying the exact same thing and suggesting we are now looking at Rhodes
  7. Plays for Italy U21's so might be a moving buddy for Gollini?
  8. Hope so, I had a tenner on Rhodes joining us at 16/1 this morning
  9. The thread is not strictly about 'world class' players though is it?
  10. It was a response to Garvey13 saying he is amazed nobody snapped up Hal Robson-Kanu after the Euro's. I posted the link as it explains why!

The 27-year-old, who is a free agent after leaving Championship club Reading, has offers from England, Spain, Italy and France. The United States is also a possibility. The Wales winger is not short of attention after he helped his country to the semi-finals of the European Championship in the summer. Hull City currently have just 13 fit first-team players and are understood to be among those to have offered him a contract. The player, who is represented by his brother David Robson-Kanu, is also attracting attention from Middlesbrough, Burnley, Swansea City and Watford.
