That was summed up by the fact that we didnt even allocate the No.10 shirt last season. As yet No.9 is still empty but I have a lot more faith this year that we will fill it.

If we want proven 20+ per season championship scorers then Deeney or Rhodes fit the criteria. Rhodes and Rudy obviously have proven chemistry too.

New to twitter so not sure how to copy someones comment onto here but basically someone has just said 5 more years until we see villa in champions league. Dr Tony said 'no, we dont need that many years!'

Just saw that on Twitter, followed up 10 mins later by agent dave saying the exact same thing and suggesting we are now looking at Rhodes
