The problem seems really simple. It’s not bad luck. It’s that Brentford can’t shoot for shit. They are really awful. They take lots of shots that have no chance or that gets skied. How many shots have gone over the crossbar today? It must be 60,000.

I don't have the words to describe how much I love this video. It's been a personal favourite for a few years. I don't know the year -- '79? The haircuts, Glenn Tilbrook's tired eyes, his shirt and gold-lamé tie, the hanging cake tins and women working in the background, and the lyrics -- Jesus. So depressing and perfect and real and strangely hopeful, too.

The songs are marvelous. Seems like a bunch of talented kids trying to work out what direction they want to go. I especially love the first one, "Paradise Lost." Reminds me of very early Genesis/Moody Blues.
