Appointing his pal Almstadt as a sporting director was **** ridiculous as Almstadt isn't a football man either. Successful clubs like Milan, Madrid, Barcelona have proper football people in these roles not statiticians You clearly know Fox and Almstadt and their roles in detail. Care to share any other boardroom secrets?

He says that the way we've chosen garde isn't ideal and I have to agree, if he's been picked in anyway shape or form similar to how these god awful players we have were picked. Such tripe. We haven't seen nearly enough of these god awful players yet really and especially under a proper manager. If anything, the players that were picked up by Reilly have been better than Sherwood's experienced buys.

In truth, people don't actually know Reilly's or Almstadt's roles and influence but they're an easy target because Sherwood is such a sound geezer and a football man.

As i said, I knew I was wrong. It just seemed Familia pitchhed badly from Game 1 and this with giving up the leads! Whatever the outcome I'll look at the Mets with fondness though. First baseball games for me and it's been so interesting
