  1. Cheese can be the same way in a fresh toasty, like bubling lava.
  2. Good call, a man of conviction can't hold that against you
  3. Swing it Ian - Villa Qualifying 4th for the champions league or Garreth Barry scoring the winner for England in the FIFA World Cup final?
  4. General may I suggest a annual subscription to Setanta Broadband, the service allows you to watch their broadcasts over the web in North America, I was able to watch the Spurs game thanks to my subscription. They don't show all games but having that option for such circumstances as Monday may be well worthwhile especially as I'm sure the club will foot the bill of $140.
  5. It's amazing to think that at one time Dublin was the second city of the British Empire.
  6. General how did the Villa staff get on in Cleveland? Were they impressed by the stadium operations? Learn anything? and most of all did they have a good time?
  7. Single player I have to go for Pro Ev but playing live games raises a couple of concerns. The whole Inter Milan/Brazil/Adrianno shit is **** terrible and unforgivable imo. I fancy FIFA to take the crown this year definetly in terms of online play. Konami just don't get it. They **** release the US version 6 months after the uk version with the same outdated squads and no compatability. The lack of depth and edit mode on the 360 was also unforgivable. At least EA (who I personally hate) ensure that all releases are at the same standard no matter the platform.
  8. General happy Labor day! Thanks for the hard work you have put in over the last year.
  9. Mustafa! OOOO Mustafa! O O O O His name is Sa-al-i-fou His Machete will cut you in two! Repeat ad nauseum
  10. Done! You feature in either of these?
  11. General, how about arranging a pre-match or half-time sendoff for Mark Delaney, at our next home game? I'm sure all in attendance would be delighted with the opportunity to thank him for his services.
  12. General you got a place for yourself in Brum yet or are you still hotelling it?
  13. Yes Drat I believe we get a 10% discount (Not entirely sure, need to check) but I believe that the discount still wouldn't make a dent on the shipping fees. As it turn out for us a little store just out side NY has a delivery of new Nike gear that will go on sale launch day, we will probably buy our stuff there because even with the inflated US price coupled with loss of our discount it may still be cheaper than ording from Brum with shipping.
  14. I understand the impossibility of arranging free shipping to Australia and elsewhere, but from previous experience I have been crucified when trying to get items shipped here to the US as well. Perhaps the club could make arrangements with a couple of small sports stores in different regions who could drop-ship the goods when an order comes in on the main site. With the rebirth of Villa and the increasing interest in the club couple with the exceptional range of goods being produced by Nike I'm sure there will be a lot of international orders in the next year and the excessive shipping will really hurt the fans.
  15. Mic Christopher 'Heyday' with some Kinks lined up beyond it.
  16. Moore, Moore, Moore, get us a hatrick, get us a hatrick. Although I think the HatTrick bit is clever I really love the idea of pointing frantically at the opposition fans players in sheer jest while chanting "How do you like it? How do you like it?".
  17. I'm sure the great new minds at VP have already thought of it but it would be amazing to be able to access such an archive online, for example being able to browse every issue of The Villa News and Record. I know that sounds like an almighty task but really it would only take a couple of enthusiastic young lads a couple of months with a couple of scanners and the priceless content would be protected and accessable for generations. The same goes for photographs and other archival material. Should the new site have a subscription or premium content section the added value would be immense and make us the envy of the football world. Should the News and Record issues be elusive then we could easily turn it into a community collaboration, getting all the collectors to scan and upload their personal copies. Throw in an added incentive: cash, coupons, prizes and it would be done in no time. I for one would be more than happy to pay a fair fee to pass the day digesting articles and features from programmes of a bygone era, recently I have the privillage of flicking through the 1957 FA Cup Final programme that Jack kept behind the bar at Nevada Smiths in New York, I honestly could not put it down and would love to read more.
  18. YOU BASTARD YOU CROPPED ME OUT!! :) I was on the other side of MON preventing Nibblypig from squeezing our dear managers buttcheek.
  19. So we gave "Moore, Moore, Moore, How do you like it? How do you like it?" a blast after Lukes goal at the Columbus game. It's pretty effective and Luke appeared to enjoy it. Unfortunetly we wont be in the Holte to get it going next season, unless we get over for a little trip.
  20. Oh well, next time we'll corner you for a photo and chat. Speaking of next times, we all had a fantastic time with the team over here in the US, synthetic turf aside, was the US tour a success in terms of preperation? and has anyone Randy/Martin mentioned the possibility of returning to this side of the pond next year?
  21. General, where did you dissapear off to yesterday? we were all awaiting your arrival and then you appeared behind us in the Crew stadium but before we could nab you to get in a photo with us and our spectacular New York Villans flag *poof* you were gone!
  22. Too bad I was hoping we could go tear up the town with you on Friday night, I guess we'll have to save it for Saturday then.
  23. Hey General, I gues you are starting to understand why many people refer to the summer transfer flurry as silly season. My question is entirely unrelated which you will find as a relief. Do you Bob, Randy or Michael have plans to bring any special guests to the tour games since it's in your homeland? To phraise it another way : any plans on using the tour to introduce high profile Americans to the wonder that is AVFC? and if so what do you hope to get out of the tour on a non-football business level? P.S- It would be slick to see an ex-president or two in the crowd at Columbus adorned in Claret and Blue
