    Your assessment of the player is affected by the fact you don't like him. You don't become the best crosser in the PL if you don't have a lot of talent. We can't be 100% sure of the reason Bannan's not in the side. The Instagram "tweet" could still be fake. Bannan could be injured. Nothing against the bloke. Never met him. I think most Villa fans share my belief that he is atrocious.

    In huge trouble still. We needed the win to keep our momentum going. We are so wasteful in front of goal and cannot keep a clean sheet. I just don't think the quality is there. Still need 2 wins out of 5 games. No chance against Man U or Chelsea so that leaves us needing 2 wins from 3 games. Will we do it... Im not so sure to be honest.

    We could also use his creativity and accurate set pieces to break down stout Fulham defence. Strange decision... I'd say 80% chance he won't be in the squad again if he's not even on the bench today. Con mate, I just do not understand which Villa games you have been watching. He is in no way whatsoever a creative player and his set pieces are the polar opposite to accurate. I do agree with your second point here though. I think something has happened, and it wouldn't surprise me if Lambert tried to get rid in the summer. Good riddance I say.

    N'Zog is so infuriating as a player. He has to have an impact today. That midfield is non existent really. I am much more confident having Gabby wide as his work rate off the ball is first class. Don't think Zog or Bowrey will have the same impact.
