    None. If I did, I'd guess they were fake. Jeez you should come to London. Every Thursday and Friday night its like migration of Chavs from the East End wearing all sorts of clothes with designer names untastefully on view!

    I don't think he would be an improvement on what we have. He is a good player, but I would want to sign players who will improve the starting 11. I don't think his loan at Celtic worked out either as it was cut short and he went off to Southampton so imagine he didn't quite see eye to eye with MON.

    If Luke is out for a long time we will need some cover up front until January. This consigns us to signing unattached players and Sutton is probably one of the best unattached players out there and MON knows him well.

    I don't care where he plays as long as its not at Villa. He is another one trick pony. Sure he has a great shot but I rarely see him contribute anything significant when I have seen him play. We need players who can shoot, pass etc... I also agree with Rocafella. I too will burn his house down if either of those players are at Villa.

    Thats kind of how I see it too except I do believe there will be a budget but that it will be flexible!

    I have said int many times, my wish list would be for Wayne Bridge, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Luis Boa Morte, Scott Parker and a right back. Can't seem to think of a realistic right back option though. Maybe Lauren when fit as I think he will find himself on the bench for the foreseeable future due to the emergence of Eboue. Don't think we could afford all these but I think we might get a couple of them at least.

    Depends what happens for both clubs between now and the game. I will reserve judgement for the time being but think as things stand a draw but with them playing tonight there is the potential for a few injuries and hopefully they won't be able to sign Martins in time.

    Well I am not sure part of me agrees and part doesn't. Its not like the AV06 or any other party can make a bid once the LSE has closed today and therefore the announcement will be tomorrow. They had to bid before close of play today in which case the announcement ought to be made there and then. However, I am a Villa fan and therefore a pessimist!

    Heres a conspiracy theory for you from my girlfriends bluenose dad ( :oops: ) - Padfield is a PR stunt by Lerner to get shareholders to sell more quickly. Lerner will then asset strip (how I ask with our lack of assets) and Villa will get relegated. I do feel sorry for these jealous morons!

    A bit like Abramovich don't you think! Not really T-T, he made his cash by being in right place at the right time and selling off large portions of State owned industry. No different from our own lurverly Tory robbers. It stinks but no-one actually gets hurt IMHO. I see where you are coming from but I think you are wrong. The citizens of Russia are paying dearly for the actions of the greedy and merciless oligarchs who colluded with corrupt Russian officials. There would be alot less poverty if the billions which were taken out of Russia by these people was given back and administered fairly.

    I won't be happy until I know the identity of the backers but I would hate to see them go elsewhere and out do our Randy!

    From a personal perspective I would be happy to hear AV06's plans. The problem I have is this. If there are a number of backers with different levels of interest this creates potential room for future conflicts. I don't think we as fans could lose though!
