  1. An excellent new blog for record collectors, good fun.
  2. Are they not just pointing out McClarens first mistake?
  3. Possibly, although I do think we need to give our new signings time to settle in, they have hardly got mud on their boots and they are coming in for stick, amazing!
  4. Yes a good signing. Mon has strengthened the forward line and I expect him to concentrate on the midfield and defence now.
  5. If you are 60+ you should know better, grow up.
  6. Your second point is a good one Nigel, I would like MON to continue in his present role. As for the first one, I like watching the tournaments, but then again I like watching football, they could televise a kids kick around and I would probably watch it. But am I interested in England to the point of caring? No, there is no point investing too much energy in it.
  7. No, its a backlash to shit international football, over-hype in the media, and to be honest an England team that is an embarrassment to the country. FIFA would like international football to be the pinnacle of the sport, in reality it is the poor relation.
  8. I'll have a pee. If you want one or not eh??? :winkold:
  9. I know its vinegar, in my haste to start such a fantastic thread my fingers got confused. Now is there a nice mod in the house to correct my woeful spelling? :winkold:
  10. So true Blandy, I've been living down south too long, can a mod add a "gravy" option please.
  11. Now having the works is defo new money rich. It shows you want to show off that you can afford all the options, but you have absolutely no taste! :winkold:
  12. I should clarify: This poll ia about chipshop chips, what you have there Lancs is "the works".
  13. But how do you like them? I always had an inkling that people who had mayo on chips were very middle class, where curry sauce/ red/ brown was working class. So what are you? And are they a window on your status in society?
  14. Cat, they are fantastic shots of the moon, I must admit I didn't try to take any as my kit isn't really up to it, and the last time I tried taking photos of the moon it didn't go well! I suppose I should try harder!! Thanks for the kind words, always good to get constructive criticism and praise. This must be the only thread on VT where people are genuinely nice to each other!! It must be us photo types!! :winkold:
  15. Totally right Nick, absolutely no to entering this nothing competition.
  16. OK, I'm busted, I just couldnt be bothered to start a new post!!
  17. An away match would be nice, 3 goals for, in a match, two wins on the trot, convincing performances, the belief we have a manager and squad capable of achieving a top 10 finish, all would suit me. For a start it's not the question asked, so therefore off topic, but apart from that any mod worth his salt can see its PFE, you are out of order sir, either answer the question or keep it to yourself. There is no need to turn this thread into your own personal crusade, like you have with so many others. In answer to the question I would prefer the premier league.
  18. Not really, if that was true people who experienced the same things in life would have the same point of view, but the don't. There is much more to us than a blank canvas when we are born, it is really obvious.
  19. See, this is why Cromwell was right!!! :winkold:
  20. is blonde hair a condition too? what about blue eyes? What about contact lenses and hair dyes ? I just think it opens the door for a lot of people who think "no choice" or "born with it" means that they think there's something they can "cure." I have a friend who came out not long ago and had been married previously, I don't neccessarily think that she made a choice to be gay or not, nor do I think that she was born one way or the other. I just think she met someone that made her happy. Don't underestimate that. but then, this IS down to personal choice... if a person chooses to dye their hair or wear contacts, then thats their personal choice to change their natural characteristics... but underneath, they are still blonde haired and blue eyed... just like a gay person can choose to repress their natural feelings and choose to go with a member of the opposite sex... but underneath, they will still have homosexual thoughts and are still attracted to men... both of my brothers chose to attempt to be what they saw as "normal" and dated women... and both were extremely unhappy... when they admitted they were who they were, they were much happier... and the fact that your friend 'came out', shows that she tried to repress her homosexual feelings, but underneath, they were still there... Pablo, how many times do you have to spell it out??? I sympathise your fingers will be sore!!
