  1. Hot blooded Portuguese have lost it. Efficient German performance, nipped the threat in the bud. It's a stereotype but you've gotta love the way they always seem to do it.
  2. Usual Germans, nothing flash, but the organisation and teamwork to be ahead of a potent attacking side.
  3. can only assume you are living in the 13 /14th Century , say hello to William Wallace for me when you see him I've never met a Scotsman that has cared that I'm English and ditto for me meeting any Scots , for sure if we were playing at Hampden there may be a bit of passion and intensity involved but nothing akin to dislike I agree, it was mostly tongue in cheek. This isn't about nationalism IMO, it's about dissatisfaction with a political system they don't feel represents them in Scotland. ah my bad ...... does the solution involve the green party by chance It involves a proportional representation voting system - coincidentally, offered by the Greens.
  4. Sounds a little like Socialism to me or even Communism... I guess those sort of systems would never result in conflict As many people know by now, I like the Green Party. That Caroline Lucas, she is a bit a war monger - frightening.
  5. The first thing we need to do in the west is to stop funding terrorists and dictators. Second thing we need to do is to stop actively participating in acts of terrorism, in the form of illegal wars and drone strikes etc. We need to stop profiteering from war, and manipulating situations for our own selfish ends. That would at least be a good start but we need to stop electing greedy business men otherwise it won't happen. The world seems to be run by greedy businessmen, we need politicians with a strong social conscience.

  7. We have a terrible unrepresentative democracy and a government that funds terrorism. The Scottish dislike the English, the English dislike the Scottish. Some Scot's want to break away and become a sovereign nation, some don't. Some English want the Scots to go some don't. The British government are for now at least holding the fragile union together. What a mess, why can't we all just get on? I propose the Tony Blair solution to these problems. It's obvious when you think about it. We need to be invaded and occupied by a foreign country.
  8. Tories working hard to get the kippers vote back. The terrorist school last week, British values this. Using passive racism and fear mongering to get votes. Milliband's no better. What a sad pathetic miserable bunch of tossers.
  9. I wonder how much that keeper got paid to push that ball over the line?
  10. Nope, beaten by a superior side. They had more quality.
  11. It is called strategic raiding, actual military doctrine and very much "the real world".Is that like 'collateral damage' for blown up innocents? Or 'strategic withdrawal' for we've **** up again? Are you trying to make some kind of point? If so it's too well hidden for me to spot I'm afraid.Yeah, your idea for how we should have dealt with Afghanistan sucks. It wouldn't achieve anything.

  13. Go in there fast and give 'em hell, ...you make it sound like a computer game. Back in the real world...
  14. So... you think we were right to go in and start fires, but should have left earlier? And your plan for ensuring future stability after our destabilising interference was to tell them to sort out our mess and be nice to each other or else... Bit of a **** up plan that IMO.
  15. EH? I think his awareness has been poor, and his passing arguably terrible. What do you think?
  16. He's never stood out as a great defender, his heading and awareness has been pretty poor not to mention his passing. But fair play, good result tonight, and best of luck to him in the rest of the tournament.
  17. I like the shaving foam 10yards line on the pitch idea.
  18. Criminal. Mexico should be 2 up. Cameroon look terrible.
