I can see 1 CB coming in but I also expect a lot more responsibility will be handed to the likes of Toner and the lad from Bury as 4th choice defenders when we have an injury crisis. Maybe Baker, Chester and Flint will be our 3 with youth final options after them

In all seriousness, I would guess if it's Gabby, Richards and Bunn, either the first 2 kicking off about no extension for Bunn, or something contract related anyway. We could loan him to them until January, let him get his fitness back over there and test himself in the champions league etc. If they stay in the champions league, pay us more and keep him till the end of the season if we're doing okay without him. If we need him back we can pull the plug, if they're out of Europe or he's not playing he might want to come back anyway

I think we've already been shown to be much much better on outgoings. I think we've pulled together some good deals on loans out and on top of that some very good sales of players, particularly in January

I would imagine there is a budget in place which has been worked out from roughly what they believe they'll get from the selling of players. If they sell for extra, bonus. If they sell for less, then at least Bruce knows he won't miss out on his targets due to finances. I think Bruce will get the men he wants in unless something out the clubs power comes into play. That way there are no excuses for failure come the start of the season. Be good to get everyone in/out early. Sort the squad ready for pre-season
