  1. I remember this time last year Reading fc forums were going in to overdrive with info from the club that they were on the verge of signing a top experienced Premiership player. All these names were being being mentioned with all the excitement. It turned out to be Stephen Kelly. I guess what I'm saying is don't get carried away with until we find out who it is. With our last 18 month history it will most likely be Osman or someone to that calibre.
  2. End of jan now last I heard. Though heard similar stories last year with Dunnes injury
  3. After the French law being passed today on 75% tax on wages over 1mill, expect to see a few good players cross over the channel in Jan.
  4. This guy has really hairy hands and just posted a blog on Villa http://www.richardajkeys.com/richards-blog/entry/villa
  5. I don't think it will be from any prem team still in the CL. They need all the players in their squad they can get.
  6. Is Sebastian Larson classified as an attacking midfielder?
  7. According to this they are paying all 120k of it. No matter how much it's way to much for us. http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1542825/everton-swoop-romelu-lukaku-gareth-barry-james-mccarthy?cc=5739
  8. Everton won't be paying anymore than 40k towards Barrys wages. That is I would guess around what Tonev, Kozak and Helenius are on combined. I would confidently predict Barry would have had a much more positive influence than those three combined. There is little doubt that Lambert has been stifled by the amount in terms of wages he has been allowed to spend. However he also has to make a choice in terms of who and how many players he wants to sign. You could make an argument that with Bennett and Stevens at the club did we need Luna. With Benteke, Weimann, Gabby, Bowery did we need Kozak and Helenius. etc, etc I thought they were paying 80k of Barry's wages
  9. I think we will be in for Joe Ledley. Palace are already sounding him out. He won't cost a crazy amount as he is out of contract in summer and Celtic will sell as they are not in CL. Only thing is he may sit on his contract to the summer. Maybe a Loan to then?
  10. One of them midfielders has to have a physical presence for me.
  11. Or were going to tempt Gavin mcann out of retirement Don't take my hope away
  12. HH just mentioned in Lambert thread that Lambert is now going to go out and buy experienced players in Jan who won't buckle under the pressure. Rumours that Lerner has gave Lambert more cash may be true.
  13. Do we need another striker? Do we need another striker that offers little and needs chances served up to him? And who is out of form. Have enough of them players
  14. Even if just try get someone like Tim Cahill on loan... thats the type of player we are crying out for!Agree, I'd even have Robbie Keane for 6 games. He has more creativity and goals in him than anyone here at present. Think he is out, having an operation in the us off season
  15. brilliant post terry We gave DOL 3 years and he got worse every season. Just giving someone time doesn't mean it will work out. I agree but look at it in May. We will most certainly go down if he goes in Jan. Another manager will have to use lamberts players and will have an excuse for getting relegated.
  16. You know he only came on for last 20 mins right? On another note it was nice of Gabby to finally draw level with KEA's goal tally this season. Yeah I know that but I'm speaking in general terms. He looses the ball to much and did again today in which Swansea could have scored from Wow that's really weird. He get's dispossessed about the least in our team excluding defenders. 9 times all season compared to Delph's 23 times. But I guess you see what you want to see and dislike who you want to dislike. What u on about. He looses the ball all the time. He can't string 2 passes together I think you will find Delph loses the ball a hell of a lot more than KEA as you can see in the above stats. I'm sorry that doesn't suit your agenda. Lol your comical. You decided to use disposition stats to suit your agenda and I never mentioned the word disposition. I know what I see every week and if you think he is better than Delph then you're the one with the agenda. I'm not sure you have the disposition to comment on dispossession. I never said he was better than Delph. I was highlighting the ridiculous myths that people spout and use stats evidence to back it up. Delph get's dispossessed almost 3 times more than KEA. KEA has good passing accuracy. Just like every one else in the Anti-KEA brigade you see one mistake which becomes emblazoned into your mind and in your head he is doing this all season. Trying to use big words like disposition doesn't make your insults anymore meaningful. This is a discussion board and I will give my opinion weather it to be right or wrong. However when another poster such as yourself starts saying I'm stupid because of my opinion, then it is a blatant insult and should be dealt with by the mods. I guess it also sums up your argument when you have to result to this. You were the one who used the word 'disposition'. Twice lol! Yes and that was obviously an auto correct wasn't it.

  20. Does anyone get embarrassed watching MOTD every week because I do. Used to look forward to it
  21. He might actually be scared of the fans reaction to him if he came.
  22. Yes I would never take last season off him as he was very good and one of the reasons we managed to stay up. Just don't know what has went wrong this season.
