albrighton good to ok w as cutting inside a lot and showed a lot more to his game than just crossing everyone else not good enough baker, awful, doesn't look up to the job so far needs to really step his game up ,that, donacien should come in, or new cover in January. luna also awful, but had zero protection so difficult to tell just how bad he was

baker has been just awful today, if Lambert thinks donacien looks ready then give him a chance, if not we need some cover in Jan for whilst okore is out. baker not looking up to it since vlaars injury

He made his run from midfield, where was the midfielder covering is run? KEA is standing just outside the box and allows him a free run. I'd say kea should track him,after he doesn't then albrighton should see the danger and pick him up, the after that doesn't happen baker/lowton probably lowton should pick him up in the box. I make that 4 mistakes, the second goal is all baker for me, looked injured the speed he tracked back. less to do with talking and more to do with using their eyes and identifying the danger

the reverse of last year is on! albrighton looks a different player, definitely worthy of a run in the team atm

I'd be surprised if that was true, but still we could really have some joy attacking that team, that midfield is there to be countered against, not so sure we'll contain them going forward though

yea I read this and had a rant in this thread about it the other day. most of it is irrelevant to the match. there is one sentence in 6 paragraphs about us. joke

Barry, 365 apps and 41 goals for us says wikipedia. He might get to 450+ though Gabby if he looks after himself. that's league apps, Barry had 441 apps for us in total apparently. and gabby should be on for his 300th in total, his 256th I think I the league. all according to wiki.

just read lawros 'preview' of the game in his bbc prediction article. 6 paragraphs of 'preview', only one sentence mentioning us, and only one paragraph about the game. the rest all about united's season and their plans for January. I know I should be used to it but it still pisses me off.

it's not letting me edit, just wanted to add that generally I agree though, goals do change games and the ref did gift them a goal. I just don't think that's why we lost today.

They were the better team because they were able to relax with a 2 goal lead which they were given by the ref. Goals change games. I don't agree that that is why they were better, they dominated for 30 minutes before the penalty. we lost the game because we played badly, not because fulham were unplayable. we were 1-0 down before the ref got involved and even though we needed goals for 70 minutes we didn't look like creating a decent chance let alone scoring.

oh yea the ref was horrendous too, but at the end of the day fulham were still the better team and we deserved to lose, bulls#it penalties/non penalties aside

just awful. didn't turn up at all. clark did well at times as did herd but herd was pulled out of position too much. bacuna looked lost 1st half got skinned repeatedly. westwood spent the game falling over. benteke's first touch was nothing short of diabolical. andi was anonymous. gabby did some good work but struggled to get enough of the ball thanks to sloppy sloppy passing/hoofball. delph just couldn't get into the game, some good touches but largely just running around struggling to be enough of a nuisance. tonev also anonymous minus one cross/shot/clearance(if you can even call it any of those) that made its way to row z. motm guzan made some brilliant saves some nother so convincing but it would have been much worse than 2-0 without him. baker and whoever was in midfield 1st half I noticed very little, don't know if that's a good or bad thing. albrigton was ok, lowton looked a bit lost at the back but a good cross late. oh and Lambert, probably worst of the lot. herd should not have started, and to make 2subs with 10 minutes to go after 80 minutes of Being dominated by a poor fulham team is mind boggling. big picture, were still 10th but the way we are playing well be looking below more than looking up imo. but points on the board is better than games in hand and all that have I missed anything ? /rant
