on a serious note its foolish to bet, deals can collapse as quick as they can be signed. I have 100% so far and the same source for them has told me about this deal, but this doesn't mean its set in stone, if it doesn't happen it doesn't happen, you ask me to post what i know so that is what i do but to clarify i dont post for people to risk something that is out of everyone's hands. im a Villa fan so i hope as much as you the news is true.

Da Laet is all but done, Monday expecting an announcement, Jedinak a little behind but again won't be far after Da Laet. hernandez made enquires and I Bamford I really don't know at this moment in time.

However things are constantly changing when I said about Elphick signing there wasn't much competiton and pretty straight forward to conclude however I was told one day Bamford was close then next day it's off, and I know how quick some of you are to jump on the bandwagon with wrong information! so I've been being cautious recently as the last 5 days deals have done a whole 360. all the names mentioned banded around on here all very credible, there isn't anyone out of left field, I'm still being told Jedinak is close even with the media reports, we still want Morrison, Hernandez, Wells etc...but it's patience at present.

From what I've been told a bid is in for Nakhi Wells.....and there is interest from us for McNair however at present Stoke look in pole position.

He was basically a done deal at the start of the window, then the change of management has come in and obviously the manager now wants to have a look at him, and yes he is having a good pre season. I just was told at the weekend that we have gone back more aggressively to see if we can get the deal done again, it might be a simple yes we will sell or it might be they turn round and now want to keep him and i really dont know the answer to that unfortunately, think time will tell.

Di Matteo has always been in for Bamford from day one its never really gone away from Both sides and that's the only info I've heard on a striker, it might be someone else, and if it is I have no idea who, I don't always know it all! So could be a nice suprise, as was McCormack as that happened very quickly! UTV! Feeling slightly more positive now for a good season.

Steveo, I think you missed the point I was trying to make! I was having a little bit of a joke as Richard said he doesn't bother with transfer posts anymore and he is trying to distance himself from it, and yes because it was common knowledge I was saying your not wrong??
