  1. Ireland and inzogbia looking bright, Albrighton really frustrating me,
  2. I'd be interested on what basis you consider them "not bad". Do you work for the Greek government? To be honest I had expected worse given the club had fallen out of the DML top 20....wasnt sure how much by and that two managers and backroom staff had been disposed of and high spends on players, As I said I havent seen the accounts but reckon the club could of been on the right track had the correct manager been appointed, Dont get me wrong its not good, but I dont think this set of numbers is what has the club at massive risk to be honest....
  3. Jesus calm down people and get over the headline. Are many here from a financial background just out of interest, I personally am and given the timing of the annual accounts and whats gone on dont think they look that bad at all having done some maths. Would like to see the actual accounts before commenting further though.
  4. Dont think 3 out of those 4 midfielders will start to be honest, gabby and gardener will play,
  5. Media makes up a lie about a player,,,, Supposed fan calls him a pr*ck.... This story is 2 years old from when he was at city and was rubbished by him then, just resurfaced again because of Henry... But any excuse for you to slate him right?
  6. Cant believe how robbie keane has escaped so much criticism here, was quick to praise him when he did well but thought he was one of the worst yesterday and was shocked he was not replaced by Ireland or inzogbia, he wasnt interested yesterday without the likes of inzogbia and ireland to run off him, hes an experienced player, whilst i didnt think Gardener was great, he was offered no protection from keane, Keane should of had the sense to drop deeper at stages but just wasnt bothered, constantly flicked the ball onto no one and slapping his hands off his hips, Bent is an out and out striker so i dont feel this was his role, but I felt keane should of played a role similar to that Ireland did against Chelsea supporting the midfield, Thought heskey did ok and tried hard, albrighton was feeding off scraps, and a goal for carlos would of rounded off a solid performace by him too many long balls from the back but I blame the gaffer for this as he kept the footballers on the bench for this one, Bringing on a sub with 2 mins to go losing 1-0 ????? Find him a complete contradiction, hes on a job preservation mission with words and not by collecting points which I would be far happier with. He says everything he can to make himself look good, how was he happy with that performance? Why does he say he put events with Ireland and Inzog behind him and then drop them? The man isnt fooling anyone. Mcleishs
  7. Agreed with all this, mcleish should of spotted this sooner and switched Ireland and gardener. Regarding banann balls the keeper caught that ppl are mentioning, they travelled 60 yards, keeper should of been challenged
  8. Put two different players in centre mid when needed to create something and left Ireland out wide, says it all really
  9. Lots of individual errors for goals, Thought keane had a poor game
  10. I also think albrighton is a very very poor player but certainly don't hate him, Frankly he is full of running but completely brain dead which is the type of player I dont rate. The people who say he will get better and better are misguided. There has been nothing in his game over the last year to suggest he is getting any better technically. He constantly hugs the line but never looks to get in behind the full back (only did against rovers and scored but very poor opposition) why he feels he should go at his man is beyond me, he lacks pace, has very few tricks and rarely beats his man, hence he does not play to his strenghts but the opposite in fact, then if he does the cross can go anywhere. Granted he tracks back but does he actually give any coverage we saw his brain fart yesterday. He is a ball watcher not a think, reminds me of Stuart ripley except a lot poorer as he never gives the midfielders got options. And 90% of his tackles result in fouls as he is piss weak
  11. Seems about right. Wow must of done all this in ten mins so, Great analysis http://www.eplindex.com/8390/stephen-ireland-stands-out-aston-villa-1-everton-1.html
  12. Being severly hampered by players inabilities to find passes to him the way he does for them when he makes runs because he takes up some excellent positions, they just take 5 touches miss his run and he ends up in an offside position, Only player that can play one touch football in starting 11 today
  13. Hard to watch some glimpses from bent in the second half, No one is really on Ireland's wavelength which is a shame but promising from him again, Do really need petrov and Clarke in there, Schoolboy play by albrighton for goal Warnock ok in second half
  14. Why crossing constantly keep on ground have better footballers,
  15. It had better be for Bent, because if it's for Gabby or Ireland we'll lose what little attacking sharpness we have. EDIT: although as the man says, Ireland will probably come off anyway due to that knock. No way bent comes off mcleish wont want to fuel the bent leaving rumours, he'll pull Ireland if anyone
  16. Regards bent From the looks of it yeah, he's missed placed so many easy passes and there's no way his passing can actually be that bad so must be that he can't be arsed even in the last 5 mins he kicked a simple pass to Ireland to fellani and on the break did they exact same thing when albrighton was a simple pass outside him
  17. He has no interest in linking with anyone or bringing others into play which he needs to do in this team, only wants tap ins
  18. Bringing bent back in was daft if gonna play 451 at home against them, no dynmanic ball winner or holding mid comfortable on ball, get one ASAP, No words for warnock, Two very sloppy goals from a very sloppy defence
  19. Felt sorry for him today, was brightest player in first half, gave bent plenty of probing balls, was in a great position at one stage and a bent back heel would of put him through, made an excellent run to near post for a low cross tap in from inzogbia but he crossed it high and decent crack of volley on edge. Midfielders were hiding and gave him no possession to work with in second half which limited his chance. Still had a great late run into box for huttons square ball which won a corner and just before came off some nice play with gabby however he couldnt tee him up to slot home from edge of box. Lots of running and effort for him and gave bent a couple of bollockings for his horrible touch, poor positioning and lack of effert. He can hold his head high again. One of the only ones
