  1. Good play ireland feel sorry for him with heskey and ably next to him
  2. Stop jumping the gun hopefully SI has a shit one so can give him grief in SI thread
  3. More importantly how did you enjoy watching your first ever game of football. I have no problem admitting when a player plays poorly but I think youl find that the majority of voters one this site thought he had a great game. (won the motm poll by c.20%). Whilst I agree he may have something to prove, to say he was poor is just daft. Numerous times he was ahead of play and looking for the ball first time in the box especially in the first half but he ends up in an offside position because it takes 3,4,5 touchs before gabby/alby had it under control to spot him. I didnt think he gave the ball away much at all compared to others, would like to see some stats?? And he won position as much as anyone else if not more. By the way the further up the pitch you play, the harder it is to retain possession, regarding Bannan, I think youl find it much easier to spread the play or play the horizontal safe pass if your sitting deeper. Bannan doesnt make killer passes he plays hollywood balls that come off 1 in 10, Ireland on the other hand can deliver the "killer pass your talking about.
  4. Do people honestly think Weimann can start up front on his own in the premier league?? The ball would be back in on top of our defense every 2 seconds
  5. Can someone please explain to me why he is an enigma? Also bar wolves the games keane played well in he was linking with Ireland (hence) had better players around him than Ireland does now, Unfortunately living in Dublin I don't get to many games but saw keane play live twice while at villa and thought he was quite average on both occasions but a improvement on what was there which doesn't say much
  6. Great performance by him today, I notice CI hasn't posted since his last "poor" performance comment, even though he played very little that day, Hate to see him rubbishing your shark rumour too in the press today, He is well ahead of the rest of the squad, saw three times today he took up certain goal scoring positions when the others didn't see him, (he wud see them if roles were reversed) Absolutely smashed Dempsey at one stage and loads of decent interceptions... Hopefully will be poor next week so you (CI) can post here again mate
  7. Gabby should be out wide, Ireland would create a chance for weimann...no doubt
  8. WTF....makes the worst subs ever...gabby better go right and not put ireland on wing
  9. grt play ireland again then gabby doesnt get infront for the pass after he wins it
  10. albrighton ball watching nearly left riise in, terrible
  11. I think Petrov and Herd have been good. We have N'Zogbia and Ireland to provide the spark agreed
  12. solid first half, happy enough, would like to see a bit more penetration and keep up this intensity.....unlike last week, Hopefully not be get pinned back second half no matter what as heads will drop and Eck wont make right change
  13. Ineffective?,hes been best on ball and putting self about, gabby aint putting in a shift mate He has picked it up as the game has gone on.. but he was poor. Agree on Gabby, isn't cutting it for me imo. Ireland has brought albrighton in to the game alot with slick one touch passes i feel albrighton has been very wastful, defense looks okay so far (touch wood) and full backs supporting well at times...
  14. Ineffective?,hes been best on ball and putting self about, gabby aint putting in a shift mate
  15. neither him nor weimann are near good enough to play in the prem, or ever will be in my opinion, big difference between reserves and senior, sooner people realise this the better and stop grasping at straws
  16. need to start trying to find passes to feet again....quickly
  17. cuellar, Inzogbia, herd and Ireland all solid... Need to take chances in second half Plenty of room for improvement against a poor side though
  18. completely agree, not beating his man, slowing play and poor control.
