Don't agree, bannan cost us in my opinion, he had the ball in their corner and could of played a simple ball to Ireland who made a great diagonal run on the edge of there box which could of caused a lot of problems, instead he held it too long, got dispossessed and outside of two goal kicks no other villa player touched the ball between that and their goal, players need to learn when to pass a ball and hold onto it, he is no longer one of the kids and has international experience

You're acting as if this is some kind of excellent result. Look at Liverpool's recent form. Ok, a draw isn't bad but it's nothing to shout about either. Were you not one of the ones who said we would lose 4 or 5 nil.....

Firstly let me start by saying excellent point and with results below, even better... To the game, couldn't fault anyone for effort, everyone gave there all, We played some very neat football in the first half at times, great layoff by bannan for goal and two outstanding touches by Ireland in particular, both these players battled very hard today, honourable mention for gabby who I've criticised lately,, Defence was excellent, with exception of huttton who wasn't terrible. Tactics, very poor after goal was conceded but thought his options were limited as midfielders ball retention is so poor, Thought he did v well today but i have to criticise him again, too many wrong choices on a whole, I feel he played a large part in there goal, we were on the break, Ireland had made a driving run off him and no doubt would of pinned them further back but bannan never released, lost it, lay on the ground.. I know the goal wasn't conceded in their half and there were other chances to clear it but at 1 nil and sitting, ball retention is most important,,, this really frustrated me, Thought we could of nicked it at the end with a 3 on 2 but for a poor cross field pass... Happy with result considering the battering taken

Thought the game told a lot, people can criticise the ref and talk about all the young players but people this was a shocking Chelsea team, The majority of the academy products are either not ready or not good enough, Lichaj had a good game, took his goal well and battled, gardener was played out of position but ball retention was very poor, Herd- really showed the job petrov does next to him positionally because he was constantly in the wrong place today bannan isnt good enough, a lot of fans think hes the next big thing and the worse thing is he believes it also, although out of position he gave the ball away everytime he received it, tried way to many long balls and didnt look to link with herd/ireland enough, didnt play to the teams strenghts or shape, tried to many balls round the corner when wasnt on.... frustrated me all game, Albrighton has found his forte as an impact sub i think, Baker....average at best... no excuse for losing Ivanovic at numerous set pieces and cost the team today...a lot of improvement needed... Wieman feeding off scraps... And for the people who called for these players for ages and before have time were calling for the generation after them to come on get a grip yere as bad as mcleish....and grasping at straws, poor performance all round but crowd were good i thought and touching moment for stan.... dog fight til end of season
