There are teams sat in the top half who could easily go on losing runs and end up in the relegation battle. Leicester were bottom of the league not too long ago and will have ambitions of a top half finish given their recent run of form.

Leicester have better players than we do. 

We’ve had a relatively kind run of games up until this point and our points total is woeful. 

Emery is a quality manager that will hopefully help us but I honestly think we’ll be hovering around the relegation zone all season. 

He’s winning medals I suppose.

Buy players he’s worked with before. I expect there to be a fair few links to Villarreal players. I’d be surprised if he didn’t go in for the likes of Jackson and Lo Celso. 

Was looking ominous after the first 6-8 overs. We’re well in this now though. 

I remember him being very good one season but that was about it. Horrible the way he died.

I did see him, and I thought he was trash for the most part. Weak, slow and too one footed. Not what we need. 

Is he a 6 or an 8? He seems to be able to drive with the ball. Reminds me of the way Pogba plays.

I don’t share that fear. Wasn’t good enough when he was here.

He played well on a handful of occasions and was downright dreadful plenty of times. His performance at Brentford last year was abysmal.

The only thing I would say is Buendia and Bailey haven’t exactly been much better. 

We’ve been awful at signing wide players for ages. £17m on Traore was particularly bad, given Lyon couldn’t wait to get rid of him.

I read on Twitter that Emery has signed 19 players twice. E.g. Lo Celso.

I suspect that means he trusts certain Individuals and likes to works with players he knows can take his ideas on board.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we were linked to some Villarreal players, especially Lo Celso (I understand he’s on loan)
