  1. Two massive chances for Lowton and Benteke, great saves from Bunn!
  2. Hard technique, half volley going away from him. Will he be our Cahill from range instead of off his head?
  3. Splash a couple of million on Forren before Everton completes the signing. I don't know what we're waiting for, Fulham and Everton will probably battle it out for him come jan but right now we'd get him for 2-3 million before these two clubs offload to afford him. Seeing Hangeland yesterday I think this type of player is exactly what we need, and Hangeland has been quoted saying that Forren is twice the player he is.
  4. Tettey and Hoolahan are both huge losses for Norwich, I heard some stats yesterday that they've never lost when Tettey's played. He's the sort of mopping up midfield player we so desperately need.
  5. If Tettey and Bassong are doubts we'll have a real chance. We need to avoid free kicks in and around the area as Snodgrass is on fire from that range.
  6. Very impressed with Baker, coped well with Stoke. Push Herdy on for Bannan in the more physical games, and Vlaar back in Herd's position. Herd is a great squad player to utilise in tough games.
  7. Stoke are an absolute pile of excrement, how can a manager be proud of fielding a rugby team that has no technical ability? They were lucky to not have 6-7 yellow cards, and the refs need to stop giving them special treatment for their shitty physical ways. Jones litterally jumped onto our keeper, and Huth showed studs and came off the ground against Westwood. What a dick. MoM for me was Baker, handled Stoke easily considering dead balls are all they can do.
  8. Talking of bearded Swedes, we should buy Nicklas Kronwall from the NHL while we're at it. He can just stand around the middle of the park and level anyone who goes forward! He's even harder than Benteke. They just call him the Wall in USA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fk3qIjz5EDM
  9. I flicked the channels here in Germany yesterday and stopped at Stuttgart against Molde, there's several players in that Molde side that I would love for us to buy. Vegard Forren is one of these, as Everton reportedly have to sell before they can afford him. He litterally held Stuttgart by himself and showed great commitment. The other player I'd like us to buy is Magnus Eikrem, the kid's a little genius. He also looks like Voldemort! Anyhow, he plays the holding role a bit like Alonso, sprays balls around with no effort at all. 97% passing accuracy yesterday alone. Lastly there's Jo Inge Berget (also a newcastle target), great player, good shot, good physicality and good technique. All these players are under 25 years of age, but seasoned and blooded in Europe and on international level. Sign em up Lambo!
  10. Unless they are out of contract or from lower leagues in Britain, we should stay off players from our Isles, we get so much more for our money abroad in Germany, France, Scandinavia and so on. Snap up some good players from the u21 european champs next year. I'll throw a few into the mix; Eikrem, Nordtveit, Asier Illarramendi, Pablo Sarabia, Sebastian Rode, Alexander Esswein. All these players would come fairly cheap, most under 5 million. They've all got bucketloads of potential and are all blooded on the international scene.
  11. We need to get the ball down and play it, get some bookings for a couple of their midfielders and try to get one sent off. Carew played really well against stoke a few years back, so they actually usually have more trouble defending against big targets rather than small ones. 2-1 villa. Scrappy goal from Stoke - Benteke and Westwood for us.
  12. Cheeky bid for Nordtveit from Borussia Monchengladbach? Perfect for Lambert, cheap, young, schooled in England and works incredibly hard. Also got bucketloads of potential + ability.
  13. The most shocking performance yesterday came from the commentators, it's the most biased garbage I've heard in years. It's like Sky has a love affair with the Redknapp family. I guess fraud and tax evasion goes hand in hand with tapping phone lines and hacking email accounts. It's not the first time it's been bad tho, and it was far worse for Swansea, even as Swansea were up 2-0 they kept praising Cozorla and saying how bad Arsenal were and that Swansea were lucky to play them on a day off. You need to be from London, Liverpool or Manchester to be liked by the media in our part of the world, no matter how well you're playing.
  14. 4 points from two main contenders, good in my book. The games were shit but it's the points that matter. Unbeaten again in two, need to get the ball rolling like we all want now. Couple of signings to shore things up a bit and we'll be fine, 8-12 position come end of season.
  15. Is it the right game to blood Derrik Williams in? Delph will add much needed grit to our midfield.
  16. Herd off for Ireland, push Westwood more over to the left for more cover. We've got more control now that Mbia is out. Mbia is one hell of a player, and QPR look a different side without him.
  17. Mbia must've had some sort of break, Derry is half the player of Mbia tho.
  18. Clear offside on SWP there, as usual we've got shit linesmen.
  19. Unlucky, half a yard of offside. Worst possible commentators I've heard. Someone needs to tell Sky to sort it out.
  20. Poor pressure from Lichaj, he needs to be subbed with someone who can stand up to SWP.
