Serious answer? They have opened a gold mine this past week of angry Villa fans willing to call in and wait on hold at £1.50 per min to "set the record straight" with their favourite TS presenter. In short: They are trolling for cash. This is so true! A guy where I work is a WBA fan and he said that even he nearly called in to have a moan at them because of the crap that they were spouting about the Villa. . When you think about it, it is a superb idea for a business. Piss off as many people as possible, and then take money off them for arguing with you. All you need is a couple of pig ignorant opinionated gobshites and a small legion of semi-literate idiots to call in - fortunately it would appear that both are in short supply. Its like Jeremy Kyle for the radio. Personally I love it. Its my guilty pleasure.

What you fail to understand Evertonia is that Villa do not do their business in public. At all. Ever. There will be no denials or comments beyond "no comment" We told Sunderland when we signed Bent that if the news broke before the deal was done, it was off. Everyone wins from Moyes moving. Everton get a nice bit of compensation, and much needed cash, DM gets a new challenge, Villa get there man. I just worry that there will be some very very bitter Toffee's in Merseyside come the end of the week.......

I am totally convinced that DM will be the new boss. This is based NOT based on any ITK knoweldge just a hunch. The silence from VP is defening, just like the silence from Everton - just as it was pre-Bent in Jan. DM has always denied that he would go anywhere else, why not this time - yes he's away but is this not what he pays his agent for? Was listening to talksport on my dinner break and him and the other bloke (dont even know his name) were saying that Martinez had turned us down because 'were a smaller club' than Wigan at this moment in time?!?! Randy likes to do things the right way. He wouldn't just contact Moyes straight away. He would go through Everton and ask them for permission to speak to Moyes. As far as we know, Everton might be stalling with giving permission, or they might not even give us permission. Or maybe they HAVE given permission and haven't splashed it all over the papers like Mr Whelan.

All this "Martinez will decide at 1.30pm is bollocks. We invited him to an interview, he came. Gernerally the prospective employer gets to make the decision who to offer it to or not. RM can decline our offer, yes, but I doubt very much AVFC have made an offer yet.

I think there is . Whelean sounds pretty confident he'll stay . I also think for Martinez himself it would make sense to stay another season at Wigan . I wouldnt be suprised if he himself thinks this is too big of a step at this moment - which frankly it definately is. This worries me hugely. The "top class" managers aren't interested. The "lesser" managers don't feel ready/able That leaves us stuck in the middle with :?: Shhteve? Curbs? AN Other? :shock:
