  1. One of the biggest attractions of Trump was always "he's different", something that also applied to Bernie from the other end of the political spectrum. The Democrats wouldn't have picked up as many Republicans with Bernie, but I think a lot of what Bernie spoke about would have taken some of the disillusioned crowd that Trump attracted. Didn't Bernie get an ovation from a Fox Town Hall crowd during the primaries? When he put his ideas out there, people clearly liked them. The problem with Biden wanting to go back to "normal" is that "normal" is exactly what led so many voters to Trump, if the Democrats offered an actual alternative, they could have easily chipped away at his support, although 2020 may have been too late, I think 2016 would've been the prime time for Bernie to run.
  2. Wasn't that the game we played a back four made up entirely of RBs? That's if you include Chester as he played RB at West Brom.
  3. It wouldn't last, without a Villa thread they'd have nothing to talk about.
  4. Not VAR per se, but it's amazing how infuriating it can be and then a non-VAR game comes along and shows just how much it's needed...
  5. Also I thnk CNN said that Arizona has been doing postal votes as standard for a while now as well, so Covid didn't really affect the partisan split like in other states.
  6. The best part is the "blue lives matter" flag around her shoulders
  7. It's like the liberation of France watching all the celebrations over this, just shows the toll Trump has taken over most Americans over the last 4 years.
  8. It was so obvious we were going to lose to them even at the start of the season, I even posted at the start of October in the Leeds thread that we'd lose 4-0 to them, they've been desperate to get one over us since the 1-1 at Elland Road and they were clearly so up for that game.
  9. Haha, I'm watching Fox and they're really dragging their feet on declaring Pennsylvania for Biden Edit - Aww, it only lasted a few minutes
  10. The ultimate problem with VAR and offside is that no matter what you change the rules to, there will always be decisions made by millimetres, it's just moving the area of controversy.
  11. I feel that the tweet from Belfast Rhymer is a personal attack...
  12. Trump's lead in Pennsylvania is tumbling fast now. And I was planning to go to bed early tonight...
  13. I get the feeling that Pence has been waiting in the shadows the last few days so that he can "concede" for Trump and that the Republicans will cut him loose when it's clear that not even litigating will win them the election. They've kept the senate and have their supermajority on the Supreme Court, they don't need Trump anymore.
  14. If Trump loses, he will stop being president on January 3rd or whenever the inaugaration is. The only question will be how Trump is removed, Biden would still be sworn in I imagine though.
  15. SImply, the safest voting method is pen and paper, providing the polling stations are properly managed and monitored. If anything the US complicate things by adding in electronic voting. Here's a video that explains why electronic voting is bad. (It's actually a followup to video from 5 years earlier about the same thing)
  16. The difference is Arizona. Some networks have called it for Biden, some haven't.
  17. Congress elects the President, Senate elects the Vice President I believe.
  18. I'm guessing he doesn't realise this would mean Biden wins
  19. I think what pissed off that group was Biden saying "if you're choosing between me and Trump, then you're not black". Plus his association with the crime bill that I can't remember then name of that was devastating to the black community. Why that shifted them to Trump though, god knows.
  20. Did Farage forget he was speaking to the British press and not Fox or something? I don't particularly like Andrew Neil, but he's gonna rip that sort of bullshit straight away.
  21. Fox News cut away from Guiliani to declare Michigan for Biden, amazing
  22. Or that they'll need to chip in on the $1bn he owes.
