so glad that Vlaar could be available for tomorrows game and agree it would be like a new signing in itself I've been following this thread for the last few weeks now and it seems that no 3 villa fans can agree on one thing, just shows you how hard it is for the manager if the fans cant even agree on things. I like most villans want some signings but a few posters have hit the nail on the head as we've been left in a place its gonna be hard for PL to get out of i.e signing players for the sake of it and putting them on STUPID wages and not even to play 1 premier league game (Beye) for instance. Lerner has put a hell of alot of money into our club and seen no return in success as of yet, so it doesn't suprise me he's being a little cautious. Just hope we can shift some of the DEADWOOD and get some extra funds, but if they're deadwood for us then they are for other clubs too otherwise those loanee clubs would of taken them on a permanent basis. I really think PL is the right man to get us going in the right direction but its not going to happen quickly. VTiD

I dont see how you can get behind the team without getting behind the most integral part of that team? Without a manager, we havent got a team. If people are saying that Mcliesh (i.e. the manager) and the team are two seperate aspects of AVFC, then it seems ludicrously unfair to pinpoint the blame at Mcliesh for the teams failures?? Point is, the arguement that its possible to get behind the team and not the manager is bollocks. Think many people are mistaking supporting/getting behind as singing/cheering etc, when actually, just erasing the whole YES I AGREE well done some1 who's got right idea gettin behind ur team is not rallying up a few idiots and slagging off the club! when i say club i mean anything to do with Aston Villa weather it be players, manager or Chairman it just doesn't help the situation. i agree i think warnock is the worst player in a villa shirt at the moent people said about albrighton not tracking bk all the way for Everton goal! but why the hell was warnock standing 3 yds away from Dunne, he has no sense of position and why the hell is Hutton bk in the team another awful full back. To be honest cant believe peoples reactions to this supposedly MACRON deal! If you look at them properly you will find they they are the biggest kit sponors outside of the prem! Yh you may argue some of the teams are of lesser quality, but the money is there and if its 1 thing we all been made aware of is, that we aint got a pot to piss in! So i say if it happens bring it on cant be any worse than the shite NIKE have come up with in past seasons. Plus we'll be 1 of their biggest teams so they'll treat us with enough respect and get the kits out when they say they will!!! UTV
