CVByrne
Are Microsoft honouring their side of that agreement? This HTC link up looks like Nokia have no special arrangement.
The_Rev
I don't know, I'm not privy to the terms of the contract.
leviramsey Posted September 20, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted September 20, 2012 Wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft is quietly brokering a shotgun wedding of Nokia and HTC. Saw a research report the other day that Samsung will probably end up with a 45%-ish global smartphone share and Apple with 40%, leaving about 15% share for everyone else. There might be room for a #3 brand if they can cobble together an 8-10% share: the only chance HTC and Nokia might have is via a linkup.
Junxs
Its the wireless recharging that got attention, bit disappointed to find out that it means you have to buy huge helicopter landing type pads to rest your phone on to charge. Surely its easier and less space invading to use the existing charger plugs. Maybe I was just expecting some kind of new Star Trek type technology
