mattyburge Posted August 31, 2010 Share Posted August 31, 2010 just a couple of obsrvations from the everton game, 1) collins is clearly our most needed player, shows heart, hits every contest at a million miles an hour and has a real desire to win. 2) are sunday fixtures not a very popular one for us? havent seen that many vacant sats for a while and considering our games with everton are normally crackers i was suprised! ChrisNichollsToe Posted August 31, 2010 Share Posted August 31, 2010 Agree with point 1 Think point 2 has several reasons, one being that its the last couple of weeks of the school holidays, so with the bank holiday, many have simply took the kids away. Still 36,000+ though. Not bad for a managerless team that has been stuffed 6-0 by a bunch of deluded dwarfs, and gone out of europe without a wimper. Only very selected games. They're all available on dodgy internet streams, but you might get a Villa game on Sky on average once a month - and the attendance is affected accordingly.
