Brad - should he have done better with first - good cross, but was on six yard line before anyone touched it - could he have come & taken cross ? - only seen it live Cuellar - getting loads on here - but I like him as a defender. The no. of times he received the ball with no out pass - no movement & everyone disappering behind defenders - including Milner, who worked hard, but yesterday for some reason, didn't seen to make himself available for a pass easily. While no excuse for Cuellar generally poor distribution - I thought Warnock was worse - don't know wots happened to him since injury. He was the same first half at Wigan had a shocker. His poor header inside caused Petrov foul for 1st goal. Just shows that football is a game, all about confidence & he will be back. Downing - 2 decent games before Cup Final, but other than that been poor in every game i've seen - jumps out of tackles - shocking missed headed chances that have cost at least 5 points since Xmas. Not offering much creatively - how he got into Capellos squad is ridiculus. (having said that I expect much better nxt year) MOTM I gave Young - BUT he has two freekicks in great positions, he put into crowd & dived again at Holte end when staying on feet would have caused more problems for defender. His general play was excellent though & thats the level he needs all the time, anything else isn't good enough. SUBS - No one mentioned Keiran Clarke on bench? not sure where Delf was BUT when in a million years would Keiran Clarke have come on - 3 centre halfs already on pitch - 2 fullbacks on bench - surely there's a better option in this squad - is Salifou that bad?
