tonyh29 Posted August 15, 2014 Share Posted August 15, 2014 I have an annual policy with Amex ( covers the whole family as well) I pay around £150 so not cheap ( though I travel a fair bit so arguably it's not THAT expensive ) but they paid up over £3k when i got airlifted of Everest and they just paid up on my missed flight to Iran due to BA's union issues ( and the swanky hotel I checked myself into in Istanbul ) and both times without any quibbles you can get policies for cheaper I'm sure but check the small print on what is and isn't included ... my mates travel insurance refused to cover him for Iran for example Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
