Wainy316
Oyster Bar near the wheel is always a good shout. Mega cheap beer too. Don't think away fans are really catered for near the ground.

SouthBirminghamVilla
If you get to Manchester early, go to the Wetherspoons pub in Altrincham. Easy to get to the ground on the tram as it also starts in Altrincham as well.
Electric Avenue
Altrincham is quite nice , hate Manchester with a passion, horrible place , horrible football sides and a city a bit up its own arse. I would drink in altrincham though
deasy92
So Oyster bar or bars in Altrincham... Anyone tried the Wetherspoons down the road from Picadilly train station? Edited March 24, 2014 by deasy92
Wainy316
So Oyster bar or bars in Altrincham... Anyone tried the Wetherspoons down the road from Picadilly train station? It's alright. Just a big grotty Wetherspoons. Not sure if it gets populated with away fans though.

Wainy316
It's full of proper rough Mancs and Hacienda victims. Can be amusing.
BigCarew
First time to Old Trafford for a game. Normally don't go because of the price, but thought why not this year! Am in the boat of not having a scoobies where to go before the game. What's the general consensus?
Wainy316
I think I might just have a few cans outside the ground. People often congregate around by the legends cafe.
MyLord
Oyster Bar in town has always been a decent jaunt before United away, mainly because it's a Citeh pub but never had any trouble in there with a Brummy accent and colours regardless. 2 pints of Taddy lager please barkeep
