  1. Hi General, Thanks for taking the time to come on here and answer the fans questions and for passing feedback on. Do you have anymore news on what is happening to Milner? Does it look like he will be going still, if so how soon? I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not, but on Thursday the 26th of Aug when we play Vienna at home, Blues will be playing Rochdale at home also. "Birmingham City's second-round Carling Cup tie has had its date changed. The home tie against Rochdale, which was scheduled for Tuesday, August 24, will be televised live by Sky Sports and has been put back two days to Thursday, August 26 (7.45pm)" Thought I would point that out so you can ask if the police has the resources to cover both matches for them evening matches.
  2. I didn't stop nodding all the way through reading it. Fantastic. You should get that put into one of the national news papers or all of them, I think that's worthy of everyone who is connected to football reading. You've opened my eyes up to more than just watching 22 guys kicking a ball around a pitch....I've never really put too much thought into the business side of the game. All I can say is thanks for posting this!
  3. General Krulak here: 1. jackbauer: My point was simply that you were mixing two different issues...Kappa vs. Nike. I am sure that if we were still with Hummel they could have produced a kit in rapid fire fashion...but do we want a Hummel kit? Nike is producing sporting equipment world wide and cannot spin around on a dime. We were late in providing them the sponsor's name...simple as that and we went back a bit in the queue. We are not happy about it...and the fans are not happy about it I'm not sure if that's the last time he talked about the new kit, but I think that's the reason. I'll have a look for more info on it.
  4. No thanks, that would be a crap appointment! Why? I know very little about him but wondering why he would be such a disaster. From what I remember: Ajax: didn't do to well. Sacked or quit (can't remember) Benfica: did alright in CL, didn't win league. Left for PSV before sacked PSV: Won Erdivisie. Left for Valencia. Valencia: quit with them doing badly (bottom half even maybe) AZ: Shit, sacked Not a brilliant record other than winning Dutch league with PSV- akin to winning SPL with Old Firm tbh. Posted from a few pages back, hope it helps
  5. I heard that too, so many stories flying around atm on SSN, I don't think they know themselves.
  6. Wouldn't that be annoying if you're a season ticket holder?
  7. It's been said on SSN several times today that he will not have his short list until Monday.
  8. It was also said that he is taking a break from management.
  9. Yes we cannot spend billions like City, unless the fairies make it appear out of nowhere. Or even spend the money that was previously promised it seems Maybe he was only promised that money if he could cut the wage bill down, he hasn't done that as far as I can see, so he didn't deliver his end of promise if he agreed to that. I understand fully that alot of fans really liked MON as a manager, but you can't deny the fact that leaving AV 5 days before the start of the season isn't right.
  10. It's just been said on SSN that Randy Lerner doesn't even have a short list for a new manager yet.
