  1. I'm not sure if it's more than one person....Ginger talks about a manager and someone else talked about someone investing.....I can't remember if someone else said something today I've read that many posts. We can only wait to see what the next few days brings.
  2. If we lose tomorrow then someone needs shooting. We're playing at home and Vienna weren't that good against the team we sent out there. We should have almost a full first team playing hopefully to make up for the crap on Sunday.
  3. 1-1 from first leg, but this isn't the thread to talk about this.
  4. Those people who thought it would be Martin Jol if Ajax lost......Well they're winning 2-0
  5. Lexicon could have changed it then, commented on how he just noticed the change, then sat back and watched "me" get all excited "twitchy"
  6. Haha true, but if he comes good then....... Maybe he works for Wikipedia and he has changed it today..... Anyone can change wikipedia who has an account. I once changed the page on beards to refer to the term 'jizz bib' to upset a colleague. That's how reliable it is. Yeah silly me, I checked after I posted....I didn't notice the edit on the page.
  7. Haha true, but if he comes good then....... Edited an Oops
  8. When you read some of the crap managers people have posted in this thread a manager like Hitz seems like gold dust. Not that I get excited about gold dust, but I think he will give this club the lift it needs. More so if he has players lined up to bring in. Excited isn't the word I would use anyway...I can't stop twitching.
  9. Not at all, they're not going to publicy come out and say they've got someone lined up already, he could just be stalling the media from getting hold of the story. If it's Hitzfeld, he would have to announce he stepping down from the Swiz team manager firstly I would think.
  10. Kev was just on SSN "just in", but he hasn't changed anything he said from the other day, he will decide after the Everton game on Sunday if he wants to be the manager.
  11. His Swis team were the only team to beat Spain in the world cup
  12. Yes, I think he would be the right man for the job. We'll just have to wait and see now, we have to live in hope sometimes no matter how small.
  13. That's what Ginger posted yesterday, first I thought klinsman, but then I thought Hitzfeld...But I thought maybe bullshit also.
  14. Yes I just checked and it does say that...That about sums up what Ginger has been saying.
  15. I think most men would rather be the giver not the reciever though Jez....Sadly for you.....
  16. NewCastles Steven Taylor has been put on the transfer market....They've not played him this season so maybe he requested to be put up for sale ?
  17. Very conveniently? Why not rush out and sign up Megson straight away? They are just sitting around doing nothing waiting for the window to close.........right lets find a manager! Megson seems a bit of an extreme example. I am sure the board could have taken 20 seconds finding Mons replacement and came up with a better manager than Megson. As it is they have had 16 days and counting. If it was my job to find a new manager, for one of the biggest names in British football who had re-established themselves as a top 6 club, if you gave me 16 days to find a manager I'm confident I could have a very good one in place by now. It will certainly be interesting to see if all the waiting has been worthwhile and if that waiting is justified when the new manager is eventually appointed. I love how when MON was signing players he needed all the time in the world to research and decide which would be best for the club. Now with a manager and a board to attack its suddenly pretty easy to find a manager in no time at all. Does the similar if not same research and consideration apply for a managers appointment? I'm sorry if I've misread, but it's not suddenly pretty easy to find a manager in no time at all. We simply don't have one yet after 16 days. If this would have happened 1-2 months ago I think it would have been "A LOT" easier than it is now as some managers i.e Mark Hughes wasn't in a job or it would have been easier to tempt one of the other managers away from the clubs they're in. 2 weeks into the season managers don't want to leave the clubs they're in, in limbo.
  18. They already have a short list of people who have applied for the managers job. I think with all the coaches and whatnot leaving after MON, the position will go to the best man with the best team to work with him. You often see when people lose the managers jobs or walk out of jobs, the next manager brings his own team of coaches with him.....I think that will be the case here. It's ok just posting random names, we just don't know the details about them that Lerner is looking for and also we don't know what Lerner is looking for to even try and match them up.
