    I'm really split over Ireland. It is obvious that the boy has talent but with his attitude and body language, I don't want him anywhere near our club. However, being treated in this way may well be the best thing for Ireland's career in the long run in that it may well get his head right. If that is the case then like Gazton has said, having a proper striker like Bent could be perfect for him if he gets the chance to play again.

    Adam will be forgotten soon. He is having a good season but as people have previously said. So did Sidwell. Makoun is proven at the highest level for several seasons. No comparison IMO.

    I didn't see the match but when you consider he only trained with the team yesterday after coming over from France on Satyrday then it sounds as if he is going to be very promising. He'll probably get more game time on Saturday against Blackburn. I'd like to see him alongside Delph on Sat if Delph is fit again.

    The way I understood that report, we have offered straight cash up front but it is them who are wanting it in installments. That is what Rob Dorsett said. Doesn't make sense to me but if they want installamnts t oavoid paying more tax on it, then it is up to them. For me, if Bent is in Birmingham, then this is just a matter of time. Well done GH and Lerner especially if we do end up paying them in installments.

    When you look back, we were very comfortable against a gutsy team (I hate to give the sty dwellers credit). Our biggest problem, as highlighted today, is not is not creating chances but finishing them off. FFS Gabby in the first 2 minutes should have ripped the **** net off but blazed it over. You can't really blame GH for that.
