    I thought Albrighton, Lowry, Lichaj and Clarke were very good during the Peace Cup and the latter 2 also against Fiorentina.

    Let's not forget that in the last years of Doug, we did produce a whole squad of youth players. They just turned out to be cack but did get us a few million quid when we sold them. However, this bunch of kids are much better IMO with more behind them ready to come through also.

    I recall Blackburn holding that one up I think. This, I remember Fat Sam saying in the press a couple of weeks before the transfer that Warnock was unsettled about transfer speculation when it hadn't been widely reported in the press that we were in for him. All we tend to find out as outsiders is when a transfer is completed, we never know when negotiations begin for a player as the OS only tell when a fee is agreed.

    Except Milner doesn't have an agent. That was the it I saw in the article to think it was a total fabrication. I agree that all we wanted to do was to spell out that he was important for the club and that a new contract will definately be on the table when he returns from the World Cup. If he makes a comment specifically about it, it will just add more fuel to the fire. Like MON says, to add comment on a story will make it sound like there was one in the first place.

    Hello General, First time post to say a big thank you to everyone involved in turning around the club. We have made significant steps of progress in the last 4 years and will undoubtedly make more.     What a load of tosh! MON doesn't have to be around for deals to be concluded. IRC we signed both Delph and Warnock without MON being present.
