  1. He's from the posh end of London actually. Is there one? It's like the tasty end of a turd.

  3. Best thing is, he was telling Dunny what to do! 8)
  4. Aint we fortunate? Doom and gloom? We aint in a bad position!
  5. You guys have cheered me I was spitting blood when i finally got on here tonight, but im glad i did now 8)
  6. When i finally got to cme on this forum tonight, i was quite angry, confused, and really down. But im glad i did...youve cheered me up! Now you will say your serious
  7. Would not rule out MacDonald. Hes worked under a few Villa managers now, and hes done wonders with the kids, and is highly respected as a coach. You can tell by the generals post about our kids, how highly they proberly think of him. Maybe selecting a big name manager is not always the right way?
  8. Thanks General. Will Randy be making a statement?
  9. Cant see someone with any reputation coming here without the promise of substantial funding to improve the team.
  10. General, may i draw your attention to this quote? "If Martin wants £30m, Randy will write that cheque" What happened?
  11. No worries about me getting behind the team, since they will need our support during the game and im not a boo boy. But i feel utterly betrayed by the clubs heirachy at the moment, and feel they dont deserve my support. Villa will be our club long after theyve made their cash and run.
  12. May i pass my congratulations on the job you and Randy have done today. I was looking forward to the season, but now feel like ive been mugged. Im not happy, and i for one, will be making my feelings known on Saturday. I will be going to Newcasle away aswell, but if this ridiculous, and frankly, outragious situation is not put right, or a satisfactory responce recieved, then you can stick it from me for the rest of season. We are a football club, not a bankers plaything. EDIT Also, my anger is increasing by the hour. Ive never felt as low as this since Doug Ellis. Five year plans? Complete dribble
  13. I take it that you and Randy have told this to the Manager then, General? :winkold:
  14. Worth repeating. Certainly was. I guess certain people just find it it hard to forgive. And did Gareth do anything wrong in the first place? We need this Milner thing sorted now, one way or the other. The press will just keep printing this negative bullshit until it is.
  15. Does anyone have any sensible reasons as to why the gaffer leaves signings so late?
  16. that is rather convenient! My thoughts also. Add the fact that Randy and Paul Faulkner have flown out there, then could we be in for an interesting week?
  17. This is turning out to be the best game of poker ive seen! Problem is, the Mancs have the anti and the options whilst we are stuck with some bad cards. There are two ways out of this:- 1. We cave in like a prostitute for the right price, then suffer the consequences later, or........ 2, We stick by our guns, add to the squad, have a decent season, and persude the lad to sign a new contract! Option two will need investment though, so its in Randies court.
  18. Having said what i said above, i still think Oniel deserves our support. I dont like the way he goes around things at times, but like the poster said.....from relegation fodder to where we are now? I would of snapped their hands off when told that would happen 4 years ago! I understand Randies wish to reduce the wage bill, but i think we only three players away from having a decent side. One more push Randy..... please!
  19. This 'fuckawful football' has still just taken us to sixth place and two trips to Wembley. It's effective enough to have seen us beat everyone else in the Premiership in recent years, including an extremely sweet win at Old Trafford which had previously happened once in my Villa-supporting life. Bleating about an alleged lack of entertainment is just ridiculous. Let's win something first, eh? I can't believe what a pile of miserable, unrealistic swine some of you are. We're still on an upwards trajectory despite running into a 'big 4' entrenched by years of success and Champions League money, a Spurs squad who had a massive head-start on us (and still barely scraped into fourth ahead of us), and a Manchester City empire which is effectively unrivalled in world football. Why do some of you believe we have any right to compete against them? We don't. We're a provincial team with a dwindling budget, a limited support and minimal global appeal. Get real. We're doing at least as well as we could realistically hope for. This absolutely hits the nail on the head. Some of the unrealistic expectations and baffling opinions on here are quite frankly cringe worthy and borderline pathetic. The fact that we went from relegation fodder to qualifying for Europe each season in such a small space of time has clearly gone to people's head, and they seem to think that the next step should be achieved in the same amount of time, if not, sooner. As Gramme said; get real. What unrealistic expectations? Trying to raise ourselves from being the best of the also rans, i think
  20. I tend do believe this. Man City have time at their advantage on this, and can simply turn their attention elsewhere at a drop of the hat, if they desire to do so.
  21. I honestly am getting bored of some posters constantly repeating bollocks. i'll get my coat And im just genuinely bored 8)
  22. Watch it Bromsgrove, they will be locking us up mate
